And the weeping willows weep,
For the bodies there that let their blood seep,
Down, down into the ground,
Touching the soil with the warmth it has finally found,
Seeping down, down into the ground,
The way out of its confines finally found,
Dripping, slipping down among the rock and stone,
Bringing a cool emptiness to its once homely bones,
Dripping, slipping down into a nearby river,
The blood from a once warm and quietly pulsing liver,
Freely flowing among the fish never knowing,
They’re bathing in the blood of their killers,
Caught in a net and out into the suffocating air the fish went,
Money, money, makes the world go round and oh how it makes a joyous sound,
As the bottled water is drunk by the nearest man with money to be spent,
And the weeping willows weep because it makes them wonder,
Why anyone would even bother,
Spending a dollar a liter,
On the blood of their father.
