ive always found stims to make my anxiety a lot worse...they might decrease it only for the peak, but the comedown my heart feels like its exploding. not very good for anxiety
for me, opiates are the miracle cure. problem is it's temporary, they're incredibly addictive, expensive, and ruin your life. it seems its the same with stims.
benzos are weird. i find they help my anxiety, but i dont want to take 10 mg of diazepam a day for a year, id rather take 100 mg a day a few weeks a year instead of being an addict. but then ido stupid things and cant remember my own name.
sucks to be us.
really, it seems meditation or yoga or something are best. ive never tried them seriously, but knowing that there's no permanent cure, like everyone is saying, they seem like very good idea. tai chi, etc. i am afraid of cognitive therapy because i think it might be too "darwinistic" (for lack of a better term)
i think, Valium, your description of a New World sounds great. everyone high on coke and heroin and partying till they die? sounds fucking sweet.

what else did you expect besides a list of warnings when you list a bunch of brand names for commonly abused euphoriants, suggesting you could possibly get a doctor to prescribe them to you for social anxiety, the most common mental problem in society?
"doc, ive been feeling kinda lame. i dont feel like getting out of bed."
"here's some meth."
more like... "okay, sir, well sounds like you need to Function. we'll start you on a decade's worth of practically useless relative-chemicals of the bigger, better, illegal ones, until you come back full circle and become a Hindu monk."
