The UK in the EU: "Brexit"

@SS. Up to now you have repeatedly stated that the EU is evil, that it's a cancer, that it negates human nature, and that it's true intentions have never been peace. Those are all mere opinions though. I would like to see some hard evidence. Some real facts. How do you know all these things. I've heard you say that everyone who doesn't agree with you must be brainwashed by 'the media', though you didn't mention the media owned by Murdoch or likeminded others. And you know what's typical of people who're brainwashed? that they tend to believe that everyone who doesn't agree with them must be brainwashed. There are people who believe that we are all clones from a race of extra-terrestial aliens from the planet niburu, and they believe that everybody is brainwashed not to believe this. I've heard hare Krishna's say that all of society is brainwashed not to believe in Krishna counsciousness and people who watch fox-news sometimes say that everybody is brainwashed to believe that hillary clinton is not a serial killer....so if we're all brainwashed here, there must be some obvious facts that we could verify, that we are all in denial of. Not just speculation, but real facts.

Won't happen. the genie is out of the bottle. It will only get worse as people now will get accustomed to these things. In a few years time, the public will not even be shocked anymore when these things take place right in front of them.

You know what happens in my country, the Netherlands , when a ship with 900 african immigrants sinks in the mediteranean sea? Half of the population goes crazy on Facebook, twitter and these other so-called 'social media', cheering. The comments are usually of the type:"yippie, 900 less of these bloodsucking parasites". And people post those type of comments using their real name and photo's. It has become normal here.
 
^ history repeats itself... jewish people got harassed, beat up and humiliated in Austria, well before it got annexed to the German Reich. Nowadays we have people mentally jerking off to refugees drowing in the mediterranean. maybe things will get worse before they get better? :(
 
The more you hear racist rhetoric the more desensitized you become to it, and the people saying that rhetoric will need to escalate what they are doing in order to have the same impact.

When it comes to the EU I do think it needs quite a bit of work, but it is a work in progress. I really like the labor laws they have, but I don't like that some of the countries are pulling the most weight.
 
Now that the rain has stopped the Bremain crybabies are out protesting.I wonder how many of them actually voted,or didn't,while waiting for the EU to stop the rain that day.If they do have a re-vote they'll have to schedule it in August,when I assume the weather will be more to their liking (chalk one up for that infamous London Fog).

Say what you will of the "old fogies" who snatched the EU from "the future" (gotta laugh on that one) but they didn't let a little rain stop them. Oh God,I'm MELTING !!.
 
I'm just wondering, why is it that Scotland and Ireland are now deciding on whether to leave the EU just after the Brexit vote?

Don't they have the same rational brains, generally from the same bloodline, as those in England who voted?

I have little opinion of this as I have little insight into European culture but the amount of John Birch Society idiots jacking off to this as a "blow against the global elite" is astounding. The same dumb asses who think any sort of working together of countries is going to lead to a one world government.

Like I said I don't know enough to know if this is a good or a bad thing but the use of racism to gain the vote and now the racists whining that they shouldn't have to pay taxes on trade and the EU should work with them for their own good is quite hysterical.

Because N Ireland and Scotland voted to stay in Europe. By breaking away from the UK would be their only chance to stay European.

It's a clusterfuck like never before.

Racist attacks (and this is just the reported ones) up 57% since last Friday, nearly all accompanied with the words "we voted leave, that means YOU leave the UK". Yes really.

Pretty much, yes. The racists feel empowered by the 'Leave' vote. Handy word for them too when you think about it. Nice double meaning. Leave the EU. And make all immigrants leave Britain.

There are hundreds of examples being noted on social media and UK news sites. You don't have to take my word for it.
 
It makes one wonder, how many people who voted in the referendum were actually aware of what they were voting for and the ramifications (?)

Why would you say this when my comment was obviously meant to point out the laziness and apathy of London youth on Brexit vote day. I'm sorry you didn't get the "I'm MELTING !!" reference so I'll explain it to you in case you encounter it again. It comes from a scene in "The Wizard of Oz" in which it starts raining on the wicked witch and has the effect of melting her into the ground,at which point she starts wailing "I'm MELTING !!". This is an obvious reference to London's youth,who preferred to stay dry rather than go out and vote,because it meant getting wet. So now you know and can quit wondering.

More than the media and moaners would have you believe. They're busy trying to construct a narrative that is conducive to just "taking the referendum under advisement", as opposed to actually implementing the leave order, and part of that is this "X amount of leave voters now regret..", as well as blowing up the whole racism angle. Oh and the economy angle, besides the fact that our economy was fucked up long before this referendum came on the horizon, and that the EU is economically unstable anyway.

I and those I know who voted leave were fully aware of the ramifications. I also don't think the remainers I've spoken to really grasp what a remain vote would have meant for this country, and had they gotten their way would continue to live in this bubble of denial about the direction things are going. We would have heard "reform" over and over, but nothing would have changed. Why would it? There would have been zero incentive on the part of the EU leaders, nor any desire to reform. Precisely zero fucks given.

What are you on about? 28 of 33 London boroughs voted remain on turnouts bigger than for a general election and results such as eg Hackney (generally considered a young borough) 79-21.

Go back to watching cartoons. Facts aren't really your thing.
