exactly why I've always admired pretty much every animal aside from humans (yes humans are animals, they just don't want to admit it). animals don't care aboutthe silly stuff... they only want simple companionship. I think maybe that's why I get along with animals better than people...

OH my GOSH E-girl my cats are the EXACT SAME WAY! *LOL* Only one small difference, my cats are both BOYS! *LMAO*
Frogger is my cat and Nigel is my fiance's. They have the exact same relationship. Sleeping cuddled together, holding "paws", and Nigel always lets Frogger eat first. Oh and Nigel is SOOOO protective of Frogger (Nigels maybe a year older) One time Nigel thought our Pit Bull, Elrick, was going to try and attack Frogger, and he lept across the room and attacked the Pit Bull on his back, clawed him up real good. That is one brave kitty cat. OH what we do for love.
