And why is motive more important than truth?
Can you show me where I said as such? I don't believe I did. I certainly don't believe motive trumps truth, but it does matter. In fact, I believe THAT is what I said.
How many people do you want? And if they are telling the truth AND they dislike/hate Trump, why does it matter? Can’t we multitask?![]()
Again, never said quantity is a qualifier. I accept folks can multitask. I also accept that folks can lie if it serves their interest.
particularly since he has a record of obstructing justice.
Odd. You say that, and yet it doesn't seem to have amounted to much.
do hope Trump is forced to testify under oath in public. Must-see TV.![]()
lmao...not for children or those faint of heart. I'm not sure if he is exempt by executive privilege, or by whatever legal sense parallel 'pleading the fifth' in an impeachment. I'm not sure his ego would allow him to stfu, even if that's what every one of his counsel tells him to do.
Frankly, I think the Democrats are being too responsive to incessant criticism from Trump and surrogates.
Another lol...as if Dems gave a crap about ANYTHING Trump wants.
Democrats always worry too much about fairness.
You practicing for standup? You're definitely on a roll today with this stuff, I'll give you that. Tell me, where was the fairness in
Asking Ukraine to find/make dirt on Trump
Getting a fake dossier made by Fusion GPS and Steele
Hillary using an unsecured server, having classified info stolen or simply forwarded, and not so much as a slap on the wrist
...shall I continue?
being public are going to do anything except allow for more slanderous accusations being leveled atpeople who testifya duly and rightfully elected President, with the full weight of thepresidency and hisDemocrats and their fans continuing to attackthe witnesseshim without proof (ref Russia!! Mueller, et al).
Fairness. It kinda works both ways.
Hopefully it doesn’t prevent the truth from coming out. We’ll see.
Amen, sister.
the president is already impugning the character of people who have no obvious motivation to lie is concerning and frightening in terms of silencing dissent.
I can't, and won't, excuse his poor behaviour. I will challenge your statement that the people have no motivation to lie. I will also challenge the real threat of silencing anyone, other than how the Dems set the ground rules to limit the Repubs in this inquiry. Talk about silencing dissent. Oh, and on that note - how many Dems have had anyone (even Trump) propose, threaten, or call for their Twitter accounts to be silenced? Hmm? Fairness. Both ways.
