The Tao of Cockblocking (v 1.7)

Is there ever "justified" cockblocking? One time I was at a bar with a really good female friend, and she was pretty drunk (I've had drinks with her a few times and can gague how tossed someone is) she was in the "i'm not going to remember any of this tomorrow" zone. Anyway, a shady looking guy that knew her came up and said hello, they talked for a couple minutes and he was trying to get her to go to the back part of the bar. She was barely coherent and started to follow him back there when I walked up and was like "hey, what's up?" he put up his finger like "1 minute, hold on/go away" and i was like "nah man, she's really drunk and i told her i'd take care of her" (a promise i made earlier in the night) so true to form, i looked out with a friend and cock blocked at the same time... but I look at is more as looking out for someone than cockblocking.

That shady dude probably would've been kinda pissed off but he's basically just some random character with his own story, and thankfully you saved your friend from playing a chapter in it when she clearly wasn't in the right state to have any say.

Great post LO. You have a sharp sense of detail and an admirably analytical way of viewing things. Because of the aforementioned qualities it is no doubt going to be hard to find like minded females who can discuss the myriad subtleties of the human condition, AND frequent night clubs. I applaud your desire to find them though, because they are out there. I know because I married one. Good luck, your best bet is probably to meet women in class or be introduced to them through friends. That way when you are out on a date, you have much less chance of the intimate connection being broken by Biff. I love this line from your treatise," Or how mainstream pornography is too biased towards the male ejaculation," we are definitely on the same page.
 
Let's not forget the well-meaning friend of the opposite sex that merely wants someone to talk to.....all......night.....long merely because s/he knows they aren't getting laid that night. The plan is to make sure you don't either, so they don't have to be lonely and horny. But sometimes you get lucky with these 'friends' so maybe they aren't so bad to risk it with after all. ;)

it scared the mohammed out of me. i hope to god i won't ever be single.
so much to think about! so many tactics! so much gamesmanship/filthy unsportsmanlike behaviour!
