The state of this forum shocks me.

I don't know if you're talking about all of Bluelight or just the Aussie regional forums, but still...

I think people are still using just as much LSD and MDMA (at least around here?) as they always have...but as pharms have been flooding the markets as of late, people are going to ask questions about them and have issues with addiction as well.

People have always been addicted to amphetamines and benzos, methamphetamine and Adderall/Dexedrine in the U.S., Dexedrine in Aus. (?), before that it was Benzedrine and barbiturates.

Maybe I'm missing your point. I'm really fucking high on benzos and buprenorphine ;)

Sure, AMPs, BENZOs, OPIODs, prob not "universe revealing" but different chems for different uses/people ... I think psychedelics etc are STILL being used in spiritual context.

I know a lot of people (are) doing so with DMT.

Maybe some RCs if you have lack of supply problems... Phenobarb and AMPs in one? Sounds like CIA torture technique "stereo"...

They've always had that potential. Something doesn't need to be classified as a psychedelic to make you see life and the universe in a different way. Also there are pharmaceutical hallucinogens (e.g. ketamine, DXM, or Methysergide, which I have much experience with).

I'm surprised you're unaware of how arbitrary the division between licit and illicit drugs is. There are pharmaceuticals with identical or similar actions to almost every illicit drug (opiates, amphetamines, psychedelics, etc.)
 
A forum ebbs and flows in accordance with the wants and needs of the majority user base. The staff also play a pivotal role in ensuring the forum develops, while ensuring the intended goals of education and harm reduction are still met.

If the forum is not meeting your needs as a user then contribute to the change you believe is required. If not, then explore the other areas of Bluelight that may be more to your liking and that is able to provide you with the growth experience you currently require.
 
Your post makes little sense to me Mr Squiggle, something it has in common with many of your other posts. Your thread is titled 'The state of this forum shocks me' yet you seem to have more of a problem with current drug trends than bluelight. Furthermore, you offer no suggestion of how the forum could improve, or what direction it should be headed in. If you don't like the way things are why don't you do something about it or atleast offer some constructive criticism, if your unwilling to do either then I don't feel you have much cause for complaint.

I am tempted to close this thread because I don't really see the point in it. There is a thread which belarki already linked which is geared towards constructive criticism and ideas for moving this forum forward, yet you don't seem to have much to offer in the way of either.

This forum isn't perfect, it never was and it never will be, I am the first to admit that right now bluelight has its issues, but in my humble opinion this has much more to do with users like you and the trash you clutter the forums with than it does any shift in drug trends or anything else you decided to complain about in your original post.

Seriously Mr Squiggle, I think perhaps this forum is not for you and probably never was. Hopefully "the shocking state of this forum" will be the motivation you need to find a new forum to troll.
 
OK I'm going to shut this down.

I think it's pretty obvious that the staff here are open to feedback and criticisms of the site and our work, but this is not constructive at all and quite a few members have made posts to that effect.
