The SPLIT of the Other Drugs forum - the FAQ

Lots of rumors going around with this one, so, here is an "FAQ" of sorts dealing with the split-up of the Other Drugs forum ... yes, thats right, the Other Drugs forum that you know and love will be SPLIT UP into two forums - actually, to be more accurate, we are adding a new forum to Bluelight -
THE PSYCHEDELICS FORUM
So, lets pound these out like a candy raver pounds out male ravers at a rave party where she gives them all a good case of AIDS in exchange for an e-bean-pie ..
1) The Other Drugs forum is getting split? WTF?
YES. We are breaking the Other Drugs Forum into two - technically we are only adding ANOTHER forum to Bluelight - as the title may have indicated, we will call this forum THE PSYCHEDELICS FORUM ...
2) When will this happen?
Soon. Some things must be straightened out in terms of the board software, but you will see this any day now though..
3) What will this new forum deal with?
THE PSYCHEDELICS FORUM will deal with PSYCHEDELIC DRUGS OTHER THEN ECSTASY ... as the name may indicate, this covers a VERY, VERY wide range of drugs - it will take some time before we work out ALL the specifics, but we will... we have a good team of people working on this project (more on this later) .. marijuana, has been included to the PSYCHEDELICS FORUM simply as there are SO MANY things that can be said about marijuana, but are not because all of the people with IQ's greater then that of a potted plant are busy loading rigs.. what else is included? Disasscoiatives! such as ketamine and PCP ... and we can't forget the 'Research Chemicals', such as 2C-T-7, 2, 5-MeO-DiPT, etc...
4) Wait, marijuana?
YES. Marijuana has been included, because if we leave marijuana out, then we would have the pot heads eventually bitching for a "It's 420 time!" forum ..
5) Oh, I see, the rest of Bluelight got sick of your shit so this will be the REAL OTHER DRUGS forum for those people who actually know the concept of PLUR and wish to have a friendly discussion about drugs that are not sooooopa dooooooopa EcSteeeeeeee Beeeeeeeeeeen rolls?
NO! Again, this new forum will entail PSYCHEDELIC DRUG DISCUSSION - as such, there will be NO INTENTIONAL OVERLAP - that is, you don't have a CHOICE of posting your post to "Other Drugs" or "The Psychedelic Forum", if it's a post that deals with psychedelics, then it goes to THE NEW FORUM - if posted here, it will simply be deleted, hopefully moved first!
6) But why is this being done? What led up to this?
GROWTH! When this forum was first opened, the problem was really that 'Bluelight Discussion 2000' was getting clogged with posts in regards to drugs OTHER THEN ECSTASY, so we opened this forum, with applesbliss and myself as the original moderators .. well, this forum has grown like the cock of a 17 y/o male after finding out his 15 y/o girlfriend just took a swig of GHB is is down for the count... it's more then we know what do with..
A meeting was held to discuss what to do about this problem, all the moderators and a few admin were there.. some of the more popular ideas included:
*) A full set of FAQ files - the FAQ forum exists for this, and it's growing contantly.. still, regardless of the wealth of info at sites like Erowid and within the FAQ forum, people want to post their question and get answers ... so while we will ALWAYS be adding to the FAQ forum, this is long-term fix..
*) Specific forums for specific drugs/types of drugs .. some wanted a forum for benzos, a forum for narcotics, a forum for weed, a forum for amphetamines, etc... this was quickly shot-down as it then becomes a bitch to moderate each forum as well as move posts around to the proper forums ..
There were some stupid ideas too, such as restricting various topics/subjects ..
7) I know LSD and Mescaline both count as psychedelics, but what about ---------?
The answer to this one - it's taken care of on a case-by-case basis... the first thing that should be published is a guide to to "What a psychedlic drug is?" - this will be posted as an announcement for all to always see ...
8) MDMA/MDA/MDEA are alll psychedelic drugs, right?
Yes. "Psychedelic amphetamines" is the term most commonly used to describe them, however, since the rest of Bluelight is VERY SPECIFIC in it's detailings with these drugs, they will be moved to either the New To XTC or Bluelight Discussion forum (or wherever else they should go) .. THIS WILL NOT BE AN ECSTASY FORUM!
9) GREAT! Well, you MUST make me a moderator of this new forum because I have been such a great poster to Other Drugs for the past year and stood up for PhreeX when he wanted to have the Social Forum removed!
We have already came up with some moderators - these people were picked based upon their previous responses to posts dealing with psychedelic drugs - actually their *documented history* on *this site* as it deals with *psychedelic drugs* .. so yeah, you might have your doctorate in Psychedelic Drugs, or have been a moderator at some other site since AOL 2.0 - if you think you have something to bring to the table, then here is what we recomend you do -
Do NOT e-mail a moderator or make a post to any admin forum asking to be made a moderator .. if you wanna get yer name up there, then SHOW US by replying to peoples questions and starting threads that demonstrate your knowledge in the area.. yeah, you might be a greenlighter no one knows, but if you show yourself to be a valuable member, you might find yourself a moderator very fast..
Here is the list, remember, it's all subject to change .. these people were voted on durring the meeting, and have been the subject of this talk for awhile...
Sebastians_Ghost - He has stepped up to get this off the ground, and will be to the new forum as I have been to this one...
PureWristLove - You humble moderator who will help answer questions and keep the idiots in line...
morninggloryseed - Another name that poped up like, um, I dunna, some boner refrence..
applesbliss - Stepping up as the official admin of the new forum... he will be the guy killing trolls doing the other administrator stuff that they wont trust me to do...
(un-officially/un-named)FoX - His name wont be on the list, but he will also tend to the forum as an admin, deleting shit liks SOURCE THREADS or FLAMES..
Remember, it's NOT SET IN STONE ...
10) So what is/isn't going to be allowed?
Who knows? At this point, we have yet to see how the forum will flow, so, we can't make any rules.. well, we can, and we really only have one -
NO SOURCE THREADS!
The same shit as here guys, except it's in that forum... you can't ask for or offer any sources for any drugs - be it some underground source selling crystal LSD or one of the "well known" suppliers of something like 2C-T-7 .. if you need a reason, then read the fucking announcement that was like 4 pages long ...
Over time the moderators of that forum, working with the moderators of this forum, and the bluelight admin, will come up with policies to deal with various things...
ANYTHING ELSE?
I am sure I forgot something, but I attribute it to the memory loss asscoiated with RAVES... see, I went for the music and simply didn't fit in unless I was using drugs, so I started shooting meth and I is dumb now.. thanks to raves for this!!@!!!@#

I think it would be a good idea if there was a full list of which drugs belong in each of the forumns.

Sounds good, I can't get over how much time you spend on your posts/reply's, thats admirable.
I think this split is a good idea, I have little interest personally in pharms, etc. I've always been interested in pshycadelics, so this new forum should be pretty cool.

A price forum isn't accurate, thats the problem ... people either post bullshit prices to make themselves look "hooked up" or the prices they post dont matter as there are SO MANY varriables involved it doesnt matter...
The guy down the street might be paying twice as much for something as you are, hell, it might even be from the same person - maybe you have a better ass ...
We will always throw up the "Price of drugs in your area" thread once every few months, but it has ALWAYS turned into a dicksizing contest, with someone ALWAYs having to under-cut the lowest price as they act shocked someone would "pay $7 for a single roll? my boy gives them to me for $4 each" .. there is certinly not a need for a dedicated forum for it..

Plugging is definitly not stupid, in fact, it's very smart... your anus is the largest mucuas-membrane in your body, so, you can be a fool and eat your pill, in which case, most of it would simply be destroyed by your digestive system... you can snort it, in which case it burns you to tears and the high is lacking... or you can stick it in your asshole - in which case, more of the pill is absorbed into your system, you come up fast, blow up twice as hard as you would have, then roll for the night...

Phreex, good response to NecroTrance, glad to see you didn't let that one slip by. I was thinking maybe he was just nervous about letting us think he might possibly be gay. I thought maybe I should meet up with him, dress him up all pretty and make him my bitch and open up that girly little ass of his.
