    Welcome Guest!

The Rise and Fall of the Rave ?

yea rave culture is huge where i'm from (socal), in norcal & prolly most of the left coast.. it's pretty big in chicago too..

i'm in the bible belt area of the southern US atm. The scene here is so small it's barely worth mentioning -- the MDMA is seasonal (it comes around in fall-winter) as are the raves. Most of what goes around as MDMA is meth or pipes.. few people know the difference or seem to care.. it's like a different world

Cali is in a league of its own. The rave scene is definitely alive and flourishing there

What you need to do is go to a burn with me. THAT is the shit. If you have never been to burning man or transformus I would HIGHLY suggest you check that shit out.

True facts. I'm not going to make it to Transforums but I was at PDF last weekend and it was fucking rad as shit. I have little to no desire to go to non-burn festivals now, to tell the truth. I'll be at PEX Summerfest as well, and Burning Man (my 4th burn!), but that's it for the summer, I'm pretty sure.

Where will you be camping in the desert? Will you be with a large camp or are you just doing your own thing?

I live in Asheville, so I am going to Transformus, not the desert this year. BUT, I will have a great camp. I am going a couple of days early to help set up so I can get a few friends in free, and so that we don't get stuck out in no mans land....

Body painters, musicians, artists, jewelry, and free grilled cheese sammiches....

I will have a psychedelic 3rd eye painted on my head, amongst other crazy psychedelic body artwork.. What will happen next has yet to be seen. But I am confident that love and beauty and wonderment shall abound.

I lived in Los Angeles like 3 years ago, and even tho they still have a 'rave' scene there, it just isn't for me anymore. I was really into it for so many years, but I think my tastes in events has been forever altered by BURNING SHIT!!!!

Fun times. fun times.
