*Note* I wrote this one last year during some post-LSD inspiration. I just found it amidst some old papers. This poem is based around a character of mine from many years ago.
The thunder rolled this dreary day
As rain poured from the sky
No remorse or sympathy
For the dirt mound where I lie
My soul is trapped in burning Hell
I'm begging to be saved
The sky grows black, my time draws near
As lightning hits my grave
Free from my tomb, I am reborn
To clear away my sins
I roam this earth from dusk to dawn
In my quest to make amends
The thunder rolled this dreary day
As rain poured from the sky
No remorse or sympathy
For the dirt mound where I lie
My soul is trapped in burning Hell
I'm begging to be saved
The sky grows black, my time draws near
As lightning hits my grave
Free from my tomb, I am reborn
To clear away my sins
I roam this earth from dusk to dawn
In my quest to make amends
