The Recipe Thread (EADD Version)

The EADD Cooking / Recipie Thread

I just got the idea to post this up now after reading DonLuigis Dolmio thread

I love cooking and have been doing alot more cooking since getting the old bashed up cooker replaced with a new fancy one

Can anyone post up some recipies or techniques for cooking their special dishes

Even instructions for making their own bolognese sauce etc

Ill add more of mine to this thread in a bit.

Smart price noodles. Drain the water out, and break an egg into the pan. Add cheese. Serve. Eggy, gooey, noodley goodness, and dole friendly!

ribs tomorrow night................1st attempt, so will have to play by the ear! oven for 2 hours, loads of brown sugar and rib rub, OJ, onions and 2 bottles of cattlemas BBQ sauce i got in tesco, then flash fry 'em or in oven without tin foil to colour them up!

check out skip steele,

any BBQ ribs tips out there, then shout 'em out!

Two large fresh eggs - boil in a pan of water for 3 minutes and 40 seconds- meanwhile mediumly toast two slices of delicious wholemeal bread & lovingly butter with Lurpak butter. Slice the mouthwatering toast into "soldiers" (little sticks would be a better description) then remove pan of eggs from heat source & immediately cool under a cold running tap. Then slice off the tops of the eggs ( be careful to choose the pointy end of the egg or you risk a minor disaster) select a teaspoon to scoop out the tops sprinkle a little salt onto the lovely warm runny yellow yolks, then dip in a bit of toast - being ever so careful NOT to allow any yolk to dribble over the side.

Enjoy

Shrimp Scampi, so easy , so delicious!

Put on the water for pasta.
Sautee some garlic in olive oil and butter
Add shrimp to cover the pan ( I use frozen ,raw, shell on, you don't have to thaw just throw em in frozen)
Add salt and pepper , hot pepper flakes if you like ( I like!)
Throw in some white wine if you have it and turn the heat high till the liquid is almost gone, if you don't have wine just lower heat and cover the pan.
By now the water should be boiling, cook the pasta.

The shrimp is done when it's all pink , toss it with the pasta (I like it with fettucini)
and add some parsley,

The shrimp is not as expensive as you might think, I get a two pound bag for about twelve dollars and I make two batches of scampi with it. The rest of the ingredients are dirt cheap except the olive oil but everyone has that and you need only a tablespoon or two.
When I make a batch, I feed my family of three and have leftovers enough to give my parents a meal's worth for them.

Ricicles

Pour into bowl (about 3/4 fill, depending on how hungry you are)
Add milk.
Insert Spoon.
Enjoy.

Is this Recipe Thread part 2 or a completely new thread even though we've already got one?
