The person I call me

As I open,
My green eyes...
I see the world has changed,
It's been rearranged,

And I dont know why,
We all cry...
It's a part of who we are,
Like the sun and moon and stars,

And It's okay,
To be afraid...
I just want to let you be,
And you'll see me and we'll be free,

When I look down,
Deep inside...
I try to find the light,
And know that it will be allright,

Sometimes I wonder,
If this is real...
But I know that I can feel,
And I know that time can heal,

And I know that,
We're all the same...
Trapped in body and in name,
But it's okay, it's just a game,

And we all know that,
All we know,
Is that we dont know anything,
And maybe that is why I sing,

This song now,
Please understand...
That I was once a boy,
But now I'm just a man,

And I will try
To find my way...
Because it's all I'll ever know,
So maybe I should try and show,

My soul now,
To the world...
And invite you all to see,
The person I call me.

I liked the fact that the step was carried through the majority of the poem, something i somehow havent seen too much of lately.
