“The Passerby”
An unguided entity hovers nearby
As she waits to pass through that unfiltered sky.
No sight, nor sound does the lone girl emit
As fibers embrace her, so tight and so knit.
Into hell, into heaven? No way to know…
As she weeps without tears and pains with no woe.
I know I can sense her drift without thought,
Leaving a life that’s since been forgot.
The path we’ll traverse is always unknown
And the voyage we’ll take is a journey alone.
