This thread is for all your questions on chronic and acute pain management with emphasis on the first. Do make sure to post a question , You can ask other for an opinion on what meds would work for you , dosage , side-effects , comparing different medications etc.

fuck this cold weather...I wish I had a vial of lidocaine and a 27 gauge needle...
 
ive been waiting for this thread to get going; does anyone have any experience with schueremanns disease and thoracic spinal stenoisis, kypphosis. apparently thoracic stenosis is pretty rare
 
I don't have thoracic stenosis, but I'm sure I will someday as I have hyperkyphosis...

and I have a friend with Scheuermann's Disease...

I have a question about that actually...are diagnostic procedures for Scheuermann's done while standing or lying down?

15 days! How are you doing, D, haven't heard from you in awhile? ?
Hope everyone is doing well. Today it is freezing cold and raining. Usually I enjoyed days like this, but for some reason today it's really getting me down.

Not too great mentally and at the top of the pain scale but Doug has been keeping my mind of it we have been chatting all night and today.

The weather is icky here too and i have no tea left in my thermos :(

Aw I hate to hear that. I'm glad Doug (is that who JKTM is?) has been there for you... I wish 1 of us could go and fetch your tea for you lol!!
 
Well have been on the stay up for 24 hours and go to sleep the next night schedule for awhile because of back pain. Even a beauty rest matress doesnt help :(
 
You're not alone it is 16:01 here I've been awake all night too. Try sleeping on your side with a big pillow between your legs and one wedged under your hip/small of your back

I am in such a horrible mood. My daughter came home from school really pissy and it's been going on non stop. You know sometimes once you get into a bad mood it's hard to get out? That's what's happening with me now. Everything has been an argument and I've noticed my pain escalating because of it
 
My son gets his ass plonked on the naughty step for 5 minutes. If it carries on he gets sent to his room. Teenager gets grounded from going out or banned from the xbox, even though Im stuck in bed they know not to mess with me i remove privileges instantly. Bet i sound like a right bitch but stress does increase pain levels astronomically so i nip it in the bud quick
