Fire starters are a must when weather doesnt cooperate ...

a little dry sack full of homeade cubes (wax mixed with sawdust or cotton balls)
work better than the over priced crap at a store

and of course wet proof matches

I have some fire starter shoestrings that have a flint on each end and a striker plate

They are also paracord so they have 5 or 7 20lb lines inside of them that you can use to fish, set snare traps or tie down a tent
