Akira is a classic. Lots of weirdness going on.
Wicked City is monster pr0n.
MD Geist good mecha, plus it has the FACE CRUSH!!!
Cowboy Bebop is a perfect anime series. Adventurous and fun.
Lain: Serial Experiments is more oddness. This series = Alice in Wonderland + High technology + Weird philosophy + Deception and lies.

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki is wonderful, although not quite the murderpr0n you are looking for. Good stories and beautiful animation you can't get any better imo.

and for guns, murder, sex and violence, look for the UNCUT version of Kite.

-Blood (Best animation quality, vampire action)
-Akira (All time fav action, so badass, stylized!!!!!!!!!)

Mezzo Forte is a descent anime with sex and violence while not being a hentai. Not great, but descent. I think most anime that try to lean too much towards mindless sex and violence aren't going to be too great no matter what though. :\ Like someone else said, Kite is pretty good as well.
