Their data availability statement:

The datasets analysed in the study are stored in the Danish national covid-19 surveillance system database at Statens Serum Institute. The data will be made available for research on reasonable request and with permission from the Danish Data Protection Agency and Danish Health and Medicines Authority

My hope is that on studies of this size, with some basic demographic groupings included, the other confounders should kinda regress to the mean. But obviously i don't have data to back that up.

I do see this as a possible Covid issue and the virus may be causing a weakening in a lot of people that isn't instantly visible. Despite having an easy time with Covid when I had it I feel like I have aged more in the last 2 years healthwise then ever before. completely agree that 2 years motionless will not be helping many people.

though i actually climbed 2 mountains last year, up from 0 ever previously and never doing it again, and am fitter than ever. likewise sports professionals you'd hope would have kept up their regimes. but in general most peoples lifestyles have got worse as the situation has progressed and that will be having serious health impacts regardless of whether they get covid/any vaccine adverse reactions.

i hope you are able to get back up to your previous levels of activity and health.

This is likely.

From the info provided there may be some correlation between specific vaccines and specific age/sex demographics. When you see spikes in only women below or above a certain age with a specific vaccine, it may be pointing at reasons we can find. They just seemed to divide up their findings in odd data sets. They imply that their one piece of spike data where it is 300% off normal is a small data set, It would be nice to be able to compare.

Loved this episode, I get if people don’t like joe Rogan as a person, but he has such a wide variety of guests on the show I don’t know how you can not like the show itself, one day he’s talking with physicists and the next a bare knuckle boxer, he is a good interviewer, dare I say the best of our time ?, and tends to be pretty sensible for the most part
