You get symptoms and you can't argue with that reality, so naturally you reach for the most dominant explanation which they happily provide.

Everyone believes in viruses, yet 99.99% of people have never even seen one with their own eyes and are unable to prove they actually exist. It's a belief system that nobody bothers to question. Fear of illness and death are powerful, and that takes priority. If the explanation seems like a good fit that's good enough, which is fair enough but it isn't a guarantee it's the truth.

The virus certainly does exist. Talk to actual medical technologists, lab technicians, scientists, etc. who have worked with HIV for the past 43+ years.

Again this is just another circular argument. It's about actual evidence, not what people claim or say they do. Given you can't see viral particles without an electron microscope and you can't' work with them directly because they're so small, evidence is sort of important.

I gave you evidence of HIV. The Caltech link shows HIV under an electron microscope, and there are other examples of HIV under an electron microscope but you will have to find them yourself.

You started off all philisophical about what was the true nature of illness. Yes, viruses are a recent way of explaining illness, it used to be bad blood that needed leeched or four imbalanced humours for the ancient Greeks.
Shame you went all complex conspiracy after that.
Truth isn't an absolute in most cases.
Often the best truth is the simplest explanation.
