i cant remember the exact date
but moments from that night
stick clearly in my mind
as if it were yesterday
i remember
after being friends for months
seeing you for the first time
in a new light
while paul was spinning
and you were dancing
right across the circle from me,
it hit me -
and suddenly i knew
i had completely
hopelessly
fallen for you
i didnt know what to think of it
but as i watched the music move through you, you let it take control of your body
and i wanted to open my soul up to you
i somehow felt a connection
at that very moment
did you feel it, too?
my mind often wanders back to that night
and i smile,
remembering the moment
i fell in love with you
