I hope I did not just make
the biggest mistake of my life
I sent it.
Why did I send it?
How could I not?
it was a letter written three days ago
in the middle of the night
by a girl with too much on her mind
and not enough faith to keep on going
Everything was put in question
as much as she hated to admit it.
So wrote it in a letter
addressed to the only one who could give her answers
so this letter
it was one last check
to make sure
her safety net was there
that she'd be caught
cared for
held close at night
and more importantly
just BE with the one
at the bottom of the pit
if she chose to jump
This pit,
it is a point of no return,
no turning back
no second chances
no second thoughts.
Once entered, things can never be the same
ever
again.
This pit,
it is one of love
falling in love
and she stands looking over the edge into the darkness below...
Wondering if the letter
will prove to give answers
or more problems
hoping that he knows
she doesn't want to hurt him
she wants to love him unconditionally
just with a good piece of mind
So before I jump,
though i think i have already fallen,
I have to know just one thing
Will you be waiting at the bottom?
Will you catch me?
