Interesting. Though the study does also say that there was recovery after 3 months and that the immune response caused by the vaccine explains it. The post uses "temporary" as if that means it['s not, but the study they're citing does show that it is, indeed, temporary. it is also true that the study doesn't include results post-booster. But there's no reason to jump to the conclusion that a booster is going to suddenly make it non-temporary.

Still good to be aware of this sort of stuff though, when making an informed decision.
 
Bro they worked tirelessly for months to finally introduce it in February, fucking February when more than enough data was around for the effectiveness for Omicron, and when in 90% of European heads COVID was over. To then throw out fines and shit to stop enforcing it in March already.

Extremely embarassing at the very least

However, individuals who received two doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, but had not been previously infected, had negative immunity against the BA.1 and BA.2 Omicron subvariants — indicating an increased risk of infection compared to someone without prior infection and vaccination.

Six months after the second dose of Pfizer, immunity against any Omicron infection dropped to -3.4% below an average person without infection and vaccination, which as a control, was set at 0.

For two doses of Moderna, immunity against any Omicron infection dropped to -10.3% about six months after the last dose.
 
To study or participate in any in-person activities at Maine’s public universities, students must be fully vaccinated — receive all primary doses in a two-dose vaccine or complete a single-dose one — or obtain a UMS-approved medical, religious or remote learning-only exemption.

the conclusion from that article stated: "Vaccination enhanced protection among persons who had had a previous infection. Hybrid immunity resulting from previous infection and recent booster vaccination conferred the strongest protection."

seriously get your news from sources with basic reading comprehension guys. there is nothing in that study suggesting vaccination increases your risk of infection. i really don't understand how the US media is so fucked that a journo can read a study like that and be like 'oh yeah this shows vaccines are counter productive,' have that as the headline, and that US citizens can then read that and not click the study to even see whether they are being manipulated. its so sad to see. i'm not even claming press over here isn't fucked and most people also lack the education to click on the studies linked. but over here we seem to have a slightly better grip on our faculties so even easily led people will think twice over shit like this.

I'm not sure what's going on with that, but I just saw that Justin Trudeau invited U.S. women to get abortions in Canada, sighting "Bodily Autonomy" but they still have to take a covid vax to enter the country

The fact that you can't enter the US while not vaccinated really is beyond absurd.

How is this just taken for granted with literally every semi reasonable country stopping that nonsense months ago.
