Liquid Sunshine

The other night, a friend of mine was interested in trying mushrooms for the first time. I am probably the most experienced fungi-fryer in my immediate peer-group, and one of her closest friends, so it made sense for me to babysit the trip. At first we considered me having her trip along with her (and her boyfriend, who had done it previously).
I got four grams and divided them equally between them, and I found something really surprising in the hours that followed. I found that babysitting was a hugely rewarding experience, and helped me learn a lot about tripping. Through doing my best to help her make the most out of her trip, I ended up getting into that mindset, and to an extent, I got a chance to utilize a lot of the things I'd taken from mushroom trips but never gotten a chance to integrate or found a way to do so. It ended up being a wonderful experience for all three of us, though her boyfriend was a much quieter tripper than she was (he is in general a lot less extroverted) but he still had a good trip and a lot of fun.
The point of this unnecessarily long post is:
I definitely think that babysitting at least once is a must-try for any tripper, and I think that it definitely will help me integrate and learn from my trips in the future, as well as help me learn to avoid my trips (having more perspective on the overall mindset of the tripper, barring of course the differences between each person) and frankly, it was just a hell of a lot more fun than I thought it would be.
Highly recommended?
