The Journey
As the nighfall comes to an end
A new day just begins.
The new sunrise
Brings me closer to you.
Hours later, the sun will set.
The moon will come,
The stars will dance.
Signifying an end of an era in time.
Time that will remain frozen
In our memories and our hearts,
For days, months
And years to come.
How do I handle the roller coaster
Of laughter, of tears, of happiness?
I have been down this road before,
Not too long ago.
Rest assured, though,
Unlike my past adventure,
The road we will travel
Will not come to a sudden end,
Rather a sea of countless voyages.
As long as I hear your laughter.
Our journey will never betray us,
For there will be nothing to fear.
Our bond is already with us.
Til the journey begins,
I will count the sunsets
And wish on the first star I see
To get you here safely in Nature's
Maternal arms of tranquility.
Anxiety is only tempoary.
Memories are forever.
