I think Bath and Body works gift sets would be a nice idea but... if she's anything like me, she's probably too picky about fragrances ;) Last time someone bought me one of those gift sets it was a really horrible scent I couldn't stand to wear. So maybe it isn't the best idea unless you happen to KNOW exactly what scent she prefers.

Do you know what her room looks like? Does she have any special theme to it? For example my bedspread and my room is a celestial theme. So for my birthday my roommate got me celestial themed pictures to hang on the wall, as well as star and moon candle holders. So they matched perfectly!

Take any little detail you know about her and elaborate on it :)

FANTASTIC idea starlight and nicely put too hon! ;)

Thanks you guys! I think I'm going to go with the coffee idea cause she's like a total coffee fiend! :)

Good! It's always a relief when you find THE "perfect" gift. :)

Yeah? I've never had them, I don't eat meat but I've heard from everyone who's eaten them that they're really good.

I can honestly say that they ARE the best imo. I received a whole package of them, not just steaks but all their meats etc. as a wedding gift. It was WONDERFUL. Didn't have to buy meat for the first six months of marriage either. lol.........Yeh, Omaha is a great gift. I've never heard anything bad about 'em - other than the price. ;) lol.........

Thanks to my mom giving me a list of what to get everyone... I now have a lot less stress about shopping/gift giving. Although, there are only 10 shopping days left and I have only bought 1/2 of 1 person's gift. I'M SO FUCKED!! 8o Viva la procrastination!!!!!!

Anyways... I know what to get everyone except for my nephew. He's only 14 months old so its not like he's going to have any clue what I'm giving him... but whats a good gift for a 14 month old boy? I figure I'll get him a toy of some sort... I just don't know what the good and popular toys are for that age. Any suggestions?

I bought my best friend's son this for his first birthday:

It's a "Chicken Dancer Cookie Monster." I got it at Target, but I'm sure it is available at Toys 'R Us or Wal-Mart too. It cost somewhere between $15 and $20. I can't remember the exact price.

It says that it is suitable for children ages 18 months and up, but I got it for him when he was 12 months and he was fine with it. He loves it too. He is always playing with it.:)

I bought the elmo version for my kids for cmas. I'm glad it was a hit - I think my children will love it as well. ;)

My boyfriend and I just brought gift vouchers for his family, as we are hopeless at buying presents.
Now I need to buy him something, before next Friday (day before Xmas). I want it to be something special, that shows that he means a lot to me and all the rest, not just some plain lousy gift voucher that shows i didnt put any thought in at all..
We are looking at spending around $200 on each other. PLEASE HELP!!

Ladies I need Christmas help

Okay so my fiance who's 26 needs a new coat/jacket whatever. So I decided to get her one for christmas. Problem being I dont know whats nice vs. whats ugly in a womens eyes. These are the only details I know. She wants one that goes down to the middle of her thigh, has bottons and tie's around, and she's a medium, oh yea and preferbly black. Can someone throw me some idea's on material, style kind of thing. Any help is appreciated.

Nice wool coats seem to be sort of the "in" style this year, although they seem a little too dressy for some. You could always go with leather, but that puts the price up there a little bit. Colors are in style right now, so if you do know certain favorite colors she has, you could go with a pink or red or blue, but that sort of limits the wearability of the coat (imo) for the future. Black is always a safe bet, if a little boring. You could always get a bright scarf or something to snazzy that up.

Your basic wool coat

A peacoat...this one is shorter, but you can get them a bit longer

The 'trench' style seems to be what she wants w/ the belt and all...

Thanks fizzygirl I think I like the peacoat one. That would be about the length and style. I was thinking leather or shearling, which one of the three would you ladies prefer? But if I went with the wool I could get a couple different colors and styles.
