Okay so I made a lightbulb vaporizer a while back, still haven't had the chance to use it, its at a friends. Anyway recently got some weed, everywhere had been dry for a while and I wanted to try vaporizing. Unfortunately my Bulborizer was at my friends. So I got a small glass jar (not as thin as I would have liked but seemed to suffice) some glade wrap, a hollowed out pen and a lighter.

- I grinded up a tiny amount of herb (maybe half a bowl) and place it in the jar

- I covered the top of the Jar with gladwrap

- I tilted the jar on an angle so all the weed was in the rim trench thingie

- Put a lighter under the Jar until it vaporized (at least I think some of it did) I might have burnt a bit but most was vaped I think.

- I stuck the pen through the gladwrap and inhaled the hazy vapor

The vapor or whatever tasted horribly strong of weed. Reminds me of eating firecrackers (which I detest) and I remember reading somewhere that cooking/vapeing burst the trichomes (I could be completely wrong), could this account for the incredibly strong taste?

I seemed to get high, decently high as well for the amount. But I'm still not sure if I did it right. The high seemed less body, and more mental.

sounds like a typical vaporizer high.

vaporization is always more of a mental high rather than being stoned.

i love vaping then hitting up a joint. mmmm.....

first time my friend used a vaporizer (he was a daily smoker at the time), he said "i think im high...but i dont feel high..."

Sounds like you did it right, props for getting the jar to work I tried that before I tried a glass bulb but my jar was too thick I guess.

Or purchase a cheap vaporizer in the style of a light bulb. But don't use it for smoking salvia or n,nDMT as you might get a suprise.

Nice! Vaporization is the way to go man, and that sounds pretty nifty and cheap. Well done mate.
