The warmth of your soul penetrates all that is me,
The essence of my vey being,
I grow solemn, I become afraid.
Afraid of this power from which I cannot flee.
Visions of eyes deeper than my minds' sea,
Now fill the void as I lie,
Selfless feelings that come from deep,
Make me wonder if I ever will be set free.
Beauty so intoxicating, that man might dream to fly,
A heavenly entity that could make my existence valid,
Mine is another heart confused by this light
Strong enough to warm a cold, black sky.
Memories of touch, a cherished gift so pure,
Consume the extremes of this tarnished soul,
How these feelings could betray, is beyond this mortal mind,
An addiction, perhaps? Or a disease with no cure?
As I lie and wonder if the sun will ever shine on me,
Or I if will remain hypnotized only by it's captivating reflection,
I remember the angels will not be bound or tied,
Their destiny is to fly free.
