Anyways, yeah..otherdrugs is pretty much "opiates, benzos, and coke"

The psychedelics can be divided into three basic groups with several miscellaneous drugs that don't fit into any of these.
The first, and most popular group is the tryptamines. These include LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, DMT, 5-MEO-DIPT, 5-MEO-DMT, AMT (IT-290), the LSA contained in both morning glory seeds and the Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds, ibogaine, and many others.
The next group is the phenethylamines. This group of chemicals contains mescaline, 2-ct-7, 2cb, 2-ct-2, DOM (STP), DOB and a great deal more. Many of the phenethylamines we know of today were discovered by Alexander Shulgin ( http://www.erowid.org/culture/characters/shulgin_alexander.shtml ). Ecstasy is also a phenethylamine, but we are not including it as a psychedelic as it does not exhibit many of the characteristics of psychedelics and as the rest of bluelight is devoted to it.
Finally, we come to the disassociatives. These include nitrous oxide, PCP, DXM (contained in Robotussin cough medicine), and ketamine. Well many would not consider the disassociatives as psychedelic, we have decided to place them here because their use can bring you to similar conclusions and states of consciousness as the "classic" psychedelics.

What's the point in mis-filing drugs ? Cannabis is a psychedelic, according to Shulgin and 100's of other texts I've read.
 
Who cares? It's called "The Psychedelics Forum" but the mods have decided that the forum also includes pot and disassociatives. "The Psychedelic, Disassociative, and Marijuana Forum" is too long and just sounds dumb. But some disassociatives have psychedelic properties, and so does pot, so what's the problem?

The discussions and mindset of the people who use psycehdelics to trip out or whatever are not the same as the people who use disassociatives. People who use psychedelics usually want to get something positive out of the experience. People who use k, pcp, coke, heroin, etc. usually just want to get fucked up. That's why disassociatives should be in other drugs.

yall act like one forum is better than the other simply cuz it has more drugs to talk about than the other...
why don't we just have a separate forum for every class of drug then...
such as the following:
The Stimulants Forum [coke, meth, caffiene, ephedrine, cat, 4-methylaminorex, adderall, ritalin, etc, etc]
The Opiates Forum [heroin, morphine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, hydromorphone, demerol, fentanyl, etc, etc]
The Depressants Forum [benzos, barbiturates, sedatives, and alcohol]
The Indole and Tryptamine Hallucinogens Forum [DMT, AMT, DPT, foxy, 5-MeO-DMT, LSD, ALD-52, ayahuasca, etc, etc]
The Phenethylamines Forum [2C-B, 2C-T-7, 2C-T-2, mescaline, TMA-2, ALEPH, etc, etc]
The Dissociatives Forum [nitrous, DXM, ketamine, tiletamine, and PCP]
The Stoner Forum [weed, weed, and more weed]
The Salvia Divinorum Forum [it isnt a tryptamine, it isnt an indole, it isnt phenethylamine, it isnt a dissociative...let's give it it's own forum]
