Im not sure if this is better suited for DC so feel free to move it. In the last 5 years oxy abuse has EXPLODED, and you know what its like when the media gets a hold of there new "most dangerous" drug. So bowing to public demand the Manitoba gov introduced new legislation http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/oxycontin-battle-heating-up-89098087.html So now lots of people are loosing there scripts, being weaned off, switched to methadone. But what do you think happens when pills get harder to find and cost an arm and a leg? And yep, this is how heroin use blows up. Diminishing availability of pharms and rising prices certainly turned me onto heroin, as well as most people I know.

Yep that's sure how it is in NYC to. There are still people paying<donk> for 10mg of Oxy, but I sure as fuck wasn't.

The sad thing is that heroin is non-existent here, Winnipeg is all about the coke/crack, and for the most part shitty coke/crack. And it really boggles my mind because I know Vancouver and Montreal got plenty of the good stuff so how fucking hard could it be to drive some over? Its not like you would be crossing a boarder or anything. I have heard rumors that the local Hells Angles king pin wont allow H but who the hell knows. But hopefully this crack down will change things for the better. There would be MAD money to be mad. And I mean come on seriously there posting ARMED guards at fucking rexals for god sakes.
