Right!

So basically... If trump loses, uppers! If trump wins, downers.

But either way drugs are definitely needed.

I'm being pretty conservative, but I have one fancy beer I'm saving for when we know. Gonna get some more weed tmrw either way I think :)

Yeah, well, I'm not going to relapse over two cermungins but I'll gladly crush an IPA on my way home from work and take selfies with the homeless.

Gonna crush some brews and slay some strange brah?

I feel bad so many are flat out assuming ACB is the deciding factor and in the bag for Trump

My bigger concern is the 6-3 conservative majority, and Barrett doesn't help alleviate that concern.

It's definitely true, if anything were to even make it to the Supreme Court, it's not like it's a guaranteed win for Trump.

From my point of view, in terms of probability, it's low, but too far on the high side of low, to where I feel optimistic about the outcome.

So far things are looking good; been watching lots of Fox news coverage and it doesn't seem that they are buying into his fraud bs.

there's always a tweet...

i guess other things like 5000 kids' lives only matter when the vote doesn't go your way...

Isn't he that guy who stole donations from kids with cancer?

A question for non-US resident BLers: does this seem like as much of a clusterfuck to you guys as it does to us Americans?? How do you perceive what you're seeing over here?

I am a US/UK citizen and the past 4 years for both my countries has been a total shitshow between Trump and Brexit. I have also been living in neither of my home countries and have been in either the Netherlands or France (where I am now). Americans are seen as overly proud for no good reason and I get basically a mixture of pity and ridicule re the situation in the US. Most people see the US as a friend that has gone off the rails, like a junkie addicted to polarization, sensationalism and tribalism. They want their ally back, but he's busy blowing Putin and Kim Jong Un at the moment and shitting on alliances like NATO. Also, the idea that the US is the wealthiest country on earth and doesn't have universal healthcare is such an absurd notion that they don't even know what to say, they just sort of shake their heads in disbelief. So yeah, in short, absolute clusterfuck.

Agreed, as a dual Irish/American citizen residing in Ohio, America has lost some of it’s luster in the minds of many. But you live in France where democracy is spelled l' abandon... so 😊

Whatevs, I'm not French, the food's delicious and the women aren't fat like in Ohio so... yeah, whatever. Anyhow, this is CEPs, so best stop here unless you want to take it to the lounge.

The US seems like a mess to many Europeans, but I live in the UK and we've had you beat in several measures of national crazy for a while now...

AP has just formally declared Michigan to be for Biden. He's now up to 264 electoral points to Trump's 214. If Biden cinches Nevada, he will be the next POTUS!

Western European, yes a clusterfuck, the way of campaigning is also vastly different, seems like 40% talking trash, 40% pandering to large (ethnic) groups, and 20% content, and 20% seems like too much tbh.
The vast amount of misinformation and screeching from both sides also makes it very hard to objectively follow.
