Hasn't it been called for Biden? That's what I'm seeing, at least out of the Guardian...

Yeah, but look at the trend happening now. There are 400,000 absentee ballots left, except in this case, they are likely to be Republican votes.

Huh, have no idea why they called it then... I dunno. My brain no work no mo'. That makes me anxious too though.

To be honest, I was curious why they predicted Biden so early as well. I’m not sure what type of models and data they base their predictions off of, but I remember having similar thoughts a while ago.
 
I truly wonder if any of this election’s results will officially be decided upon anytime soon.

It kinda looks like Trump might not win, at least not based upon electoral votes. If he doesn’t win in PA, WS, MI, AZ or NV he will likely claim voter fraud. This could get tied up in SCOTUS, with its 2 Trump Justices + Coney Barrett. That’s not going to be good for Biden.

Republicans have contested election results before—in Florida, with Bush, the son. I was much younger, but I remember it. They were victorious.
 
I mean I certainly did not want to go wait in line, perhaps see drama, of course covid, etc.

Mail in was a no brainer. First time I ever mailed in a vote. Figured they would process as they come in, but guess they weren't allowed to open the votes until yesterday.

For me it doesn't matter, IL is blue. But hope all mail in votes are counted correctly.

Its too bad it couldn't have been done online in a way where it would be processed as the vote happened. Perhaps in the blockchain even. Maybe for 2024.

Or, at least, that’s Trump’s game plan. Whether it will materialize or not is what only time will tell, but his words and actions since last night seem to indicate the trajectory this will inevitably take.

Yeah, I hope blockchain is introduced to voting systems in the US for the next election. India's election commission is already exploring doing so.

Different states count them in different ways.

Thing is it seems pretty clear the Trump camp didn't want the mailed votes counted quickly. They wanted them to take place after election night, specifically so they could then paint them as fraudulent.

Ensuring only in person votes made on the day, predominantly for them, are legitimate.

It's all a complete fraud. And how anyone could defend it being honest with themselves is astounding.

Seriously, isn’t trolling completely inappropriate right now?
And I’m not reassured at all that the Supreme Court won’t do something similar to what it did with Bush v. Gore. Counting all the votes during a pandemic matters. 🤬🤯
