Passions run high on this one man. We all care so much about it- the same thing essentially is what we want but we just don't know collectively which way to move towards that at times.

Regardless you are another member whose posts I have always really appreciated and I would never want to fall out with yourself either over this dispute.

Shoot I really forgot- to apolagize to all here,,for being unusually caustic today.

It's not my usual way, normally I try to bring light and optimisim and good humour too.

Just been very down, irritable, anxiety extreme, and prone to rant.
Hate to let myself down at times and am sorry for my critical, negative tone.

Just so much passion on all this for me.

Given that it's not a valid charge of treason to start with, I think you know that due process and rule of law has no place here.

Ironically the ultra patriotic types usually have no time for constitutional protections. :p

Not to mention that it was the conservative types who were all "private enterprise can do anything it wants" until anything it wants started involving taking down trumps obvious lies.

Let's face it though we're talking about complete hypocrites.
 
It really is! I usually don’t worry about such things, but I’m finding it increasingly difficult this time around, especially with all the insanity that keeps pouring out of Trump’s mouth, daily, at this point.

That's not what's scary to me.

What's scary is that somehow in spite of all his behavior, an enormous number of Americans would vote for him anyway.

That it's a number that allows a trump victory to even be something we can discuss seriously is something that has profoundly damaged my faith in America, in Americans, in democracy in general, like nothing else has in my life thus far.

Trump's behavior isn't so much the problem to me as that he is able to get away with it.

You're absolutely right. That's truly the root cause, when you really get down to it.
 
The root cause is people have seemingly lost all perspective and all sense.

They see nothing wrong with blatant attempts to disenfranchise people who are disinclined to vote for trump. Nothing wrong with trump saying he might not accept the election results. Nothing wrong with him outright lying to the American people over and over about almost laughably obvious realities. Nothing wrong with him using his power to try and damage his political enemies like a dictator.

Honestly I could go on all day. And they just make excuses for it.

They literally just make up their own reality to justify it. With truly idiotic conspiracy theories and made up controversies that don't have a shred of evidence.

And the worst part is it won't be defeated even if trump is.

In some ways I think we got lucky with trump. If we hadn't had such a complete buffoon be the one to come along and harness this problem we could have been in a much more dire situation right now.
