Latley a lot of my peers and friends have been raving about Oxy and I was wondering what does oxy exactly do and what is the best way to use it. Is oxy safe because it is a prescription drug or is that just a illusion?

This thread will more than likely be closed soon as it has been covered if you just research hard enough. But while it is still open, I will explain as much as I know. Oxy is a form of an opiate (painkiller). It is also known as hillbilly heroin, because it is essentially the same drug, just in pill form. All opiates are similar in there own just as all benzos are similar to an extent. The best way to use it (for you) since you are clearly new to this is NOT AT ALL!!!!! It is very habit forming and can lead you to the heroin needle down the road if you are not careful, because essentially it is almost the same thing.....

Realistically, the best (SAFEST) method to take it is orally. It is a prescription drug that is meant to be swallowed, not shot up, not sniffed, but swallowed. Many of people on here do inject oxy, but that is after they are hooked and there are methods and many precautions to take. If you are interested in trying it, take a very small dose as you probably have no tolerance to opiates.

And to answer that last question. Oxy is not safe, if taken like directed it CAN be. Most people on here are addicts (myself included to marijuana and dependent on xanax). But no, it is not safe. It is one of the worst drugs to mess around with. Like I said, you are essentially taking heroin in pill form. It IS just an illusion that it is safe because it is a prescription drug. That isn't even true though, because many MANYY prescription drugs are dangerous, especially oxys......

Hanging around people that are "raving" about oxy will only lead you to drugs down the road, hard ones......
Stick to smoking weed and drinking, as they are not safe, but safer.....

It's an illusion that its safe because its prescription. A very large one. When used proeply and under supervision of a doctor for a genuine ailment - usually cancer or major surgeries, yes, it is safe to use and improves the quality of life of many people in pain. Oxycodone is essentially prescription strength heroin. It's 1.5x more potent than morphine orally administered. It's one of the most dangerous drugs out there. Don't fall into the trap of trying it and falling into the claws of an opiate addiction. It's very fiendish and taken recreationally very hard to put down and stop using.

I really recommend you never touch the stuff if you don't have a genuine need for it e.g. a chronic pain condition or cancer or whatnot. It will ruin your life. As budsn said, stick to the weed if you enjoy it and alcohol responsibly if you also can and do that.

Not to mention that it is very easy to overdose on. Without a lot of research into the drug beforehand it is very easy to do. It's very moorish and you feel the need to compulsively redose to get higher and higher. One tablet is enough to kill any opiate naive individual. People underestimate the power of such small tablets. If you mix it with alcohol as well per say, again, your chances of overdosing and dying are high if you're inexperienced with it.

Never use opiates recreationally. Especially oxy. It's a whole different barrel of fish when it comes down to its addictive nature and terms of effects. It's not a typical opiate and doesn't provide typical opiate effects either.

I have battled addiction to the stuff mercilessly for the past two years. Opiates for the good part of 5. I wish I had never picked them up to begin with but I did. I was ignorant and unaware of what it could cause to happen, and wish I had been educated better in the whole prescription medication saga and issue. Stay ahead of the game, and your mind. Stay away from it and you'll be thanking yourself for the rest of your life.

Iv'e now heard the risk but I want to know what the high would feel like? Would it be a rush

google oxycodone, wikipeida oxycodone, go to erowid.org, along with a million other things you could do to quickly find a quality answer.

The risk outweighs the "high" or rush imo. I usually feel very relaxed, content and when I've taken enough to get very high, time just seems to slip away while I nod in and out. The rush only comes from IV'ing or snorting ime. You're better off just taking them orally, but really you're better off not getting into Oxy in the first place.

I was heavily addicted to heroin about 5 years ago. A few months ago I was prescribed Oxy's due to badly breaking my foot. I wish so much now I would have just taken them as prescribed. Back in this addiction now and honestly man, it's not fun. I mean yeah, of course it was great the first few weeks but opiates have a strong grasp that will get into you deep. Listen to everyone's advice in staying away.

Oxy isn't really a rush producing drug. That's more for stimulants. It's a long process by which you essentially unwind and become more and more relaxed and sedated yet also a little bit stimulated. It's an incredibly euphoric high too.

This however does not outweigh the negatives. It will ruin your life, take every cent from your pocket, your "friends" will leave you, your family will give up on you, you'll end up homeless, your only motivation for that next fix to keep you up through the day. Unless you have incredible self control, it will take everything from you and not give you anything in return apart from a one time good high. The expression chasing the dragon is so true when it comes to oxy. You'll never get that same high back from the first time you took it. And you'll always want it. That's if it doesn't kill you first.

Frankly if your friends are pressuring you into trying this stuff, I'd step back and take time to truly reconsider who my friends were. Nobody should force anybody else into trying this stuff or anything else for that matter. I'm pretty sure they're completely uneducated on the true dangers of oxycodone abuse. Let them face the horrific consequences and misery caused by the addiction to this awful drug. Don't let yourself fall into the same pit.

the people who make these kind of threads end up makeing a "help me stop shooting heroin" thread 6 months later. Trust me when I tell you opaites are the best high there is no question about it. So great theyll make you do things you never would of done to get them into your body. I wissh i would of never touched the stuff.

I assure you if you have money and a steady connect there will be no "trying" it.

It's highly addictive and you'll get withdrawals from hell if you quit abruptly after prolonged use. It's literally no safer than heroin in terms of addiction risk. In fact, I've heard Oxy addicts claim that heroin is "weak" and "boring" by comparison. Please don't fool yourself into thinking it's somehow safer than street drugs because it comes in an Rx bottle.

As for the effects, I find it more stimulating than other opiates. It causes an almost manic sense of euphoria that makes me want to talk and type a lot. Subjectively speaking, of course. If you're opiate-naive, it could very well make you puke your brains out and feel miserable. Not everyone gets positive effects from opiates.

Like all the other posters have mentioned, it is highly addictive! It gives you a warm, cozy feeling.
When I first discovered opiates I tried dilaudids. It made me throw up so I stayed away after that but somehow a few months later I began dabbling with them again just doing little bits every so often until I began binging for days until my tolerance got so high I couldn't afford to keep buying more.

I feel stupid for being in the situation I am now because of so many previous warnings and stories people have posted and here I am, feinding for another pill.
I've never injected and still don't plan to despite how much I crave them.

I've only ever suffered very minor withdrawals that I can handle but its the mental craving... it's like this nasty shadow lurking behind me everywhere I go. If I could just have a couple pills I could feel so nice...
Part of me knows I'm fucked, but another part loves the feeling so much I don't want to stop and I wasn't concerned before but now I'm starting to worry about losing control.

Like myself, you probably won't heed any warnings but I still have to say DON'T DO IT

oxycodone is no safer than heroin except you know that you're not getting so nasty shit in you're oxy like dealers cut their heroin with but if you could get pure heroin oxy is just as dangerous as far as how it makes you feel oxycodone makes me feel awake and wanting to do stuff where heroin makes me tired and lazy

Yea I don't really need to restate it, everyone else already said it. It's better you just leave it alone.

Myself however, I've only over had Oxy once. It was fucking fantastic, of course. Opiate highs are no playing around, they are one of the best highs out there. I believe what I had was a single 20.... Let's just say I got high as fuck. I fell asleep within a couple hours, passed the fuck out. Felt amazing during that time.

I have no source for any opiates so I barely ever do them. It's nice however when I do, but I'm not trying to get hooked as I'm very aware of there addiction. I've had hydrocodone probably around 10 times and it's a similar high but oxy is definitely a lot stronger and a better feeling.

Pills are the only drug I've ever done, so I don't have much of a reference to compare - but, I honestly don't think they are that great. I started off dabbling with some codeine, when it ran out I moved onto vicodin (hydrocodone) and also percocets (oxycodone). The first time I took the vicodin i did a CWE on 5 pills, and the first time I did percocets I took 4 and just took them without a CWE. It was about the same experience, but for someone who has never taken either of those before, I wasn't impressed that 4-5 of each pill didn't do a ton for me. I still love the high though and I'm debating whether or not to quit now or try to find a hookup for more percocets.

Quit now and save yourself a whole heap of pain, tears and cash.
