dogs are loyal / they keep away burglars and can be taught such amazing tricks as sit down or roll over, they chase balls: they are fun!

Cats do fuck all but shit and eat.

Dogs need taking for walks and given loads of attention. Cats take care of themselves mostly.

And dogs shit all over the place. Even when my cats litter tray is full he'll never shit on the floor. He'll go in a flower pot instaed :D

That's why I say cats are smarter than dogs. A dog would have to be trained to do that, and even then that might not work. =D

Yeah cats know what they can and can't do without being taught. They are the superior being. They clean themselves and everything.

So do people at festivals talk about their cats?

Dunno, never been at one myself, my tinnitus doesn't allow me that sort of fun, but this seems a little off.

Tinnitus stops you from going to festivals?

People with tinnitus go to raves, they just get ear plugs which stop the loud music fucking up there ears so I'm sure you could get a pair and go to festivals.

Someone who has not been to a festival has not lived. It's the most entertaining thing ever.

This post made me :( :( :( :( :( and a thousand times :(

I've got earplugs - I use them at every band practise.

The sad thing, the last show I was at I had earplugs, it was a sorta soft-rock show, no big Marshall amplifiers, no big distortion, etc.... just soft rock, could have been acoustic.

I had earplugs, and the show only lasted an hour and a half - and surely enough, I came home with my ears ringing like a bitch.

So my conclusion is, if an hour and a half of soft-rock with earplugs meant severely increased tinnitus for a few days, imagine what a week of rock'n roll in a festival would do to me!
It sucks cause I would have loved to go to FIB this year

Maybe its just me but I never notice festivals being that loud...But I don't remember half of the bands I 'apparently' saw at most festivals so.

It's easy to keep away from loud noise and still experience a festival.

Yeah at festys you never get close to the speakers anyway unless you really try. Standing at the back is easy enough or at the side, you can still see the band and hear them but it wont be too loud.

I imagine you'ld be fine.
