The virus changes, but protections don’t

How far and how fast this variant may be spreading also continues to be an open question, according to the CDC, because the amount of genomic sequencing for the virus that causes Covid-19 has declined over time, “meaning more variants may emerge and spread undetected for longer periods of time,” the report said.

“It is also important to note that the current increase in hospitalizations in the United States is not likely driven by the BA.2.86 variant,” the report says, though that evaluation may shift as scientists get more information.

Based on preliminary analysis of the changes to this new virus, the CDC says that tests and antiviral drugs are expected to continue to work against it.

“At this time, we don’t know how well this variant spreads, but we know that it spreads in the same way as other variants,” the CDC said. That means you can still take certain steps to protect yourself and others from infection:

• Get your Covid-19 vaccines, as recommended
• Stay home if you are sick
• Get tested for Covid-19 if needed
• Seek treatment if you have Covid-19 and are at high risk of getting very sick
• If you choose to wear a mask, wear a high-quality one that fits well over your nose and mouth
• Improve ventilation as much as possible
• Wash your hands frequently

So deer are actually helping it become less severe is how I see this, because viruses don't usually mutate to become more severe. If a bunch of deer start dying then I'll maybe care

Results from a study by the Ohio State University showed that white-tailed deer in Ohio have been infected with COVID-19, and variants of the virus evolve nearly three times as fast as in humans

We generally talk about interspecies transmission as a rare event," he (OSU associate professor of veterinary preventive medicine Andrew Bowman) said, "but this wasn’t a huge sampling, and we’re able to document 30 spillovers. It (Covid) seems to be moving between people and animals quite easily, and the evidence is growing that humans can get it from deer, which isn’t radically surprising. It’s probably not a one-way pipeline

In light of a court case launched by a group of doctors challenging the Queensland government's COVID-19 vaccination mandates, records have revealed that the first deaths in the Australian state were individuals who were fully vaccinated.

A list of the state’s first 183 COVID-19 deaths from the pandemic's start on March 13, 2020, until Jan. 27, 2022, produced by Queensland’s chief health officer in an affidavit, indicates it was known to authorities as early as Jan. 2022 that the vaccines may not be preventing deaths.

The list shows that the first locally acquired COVID-19 death was one in their 80s and another in their 30s, with both having received two doses of the vaccine in December 2021 and January 2022, respectively.

While Queensland recorded seven deaths early in the pandemic, these cases were acquired outside of the state and before vaccine rollouts began.

Queensland's border opened in December 2021 after 80 percent of the state population vaccination was reached. By Dec. 31, 2021, nearly 90 percent of the population over 16 were fully vaccinated.

All they have to do is do the recoding of pneumonia and the flu. Drop billions in equipment, federal dollars, and propaganda. And then they get authoritarian control, the ability to profit from human suffering essentially. All they need is that core 30% of people that are super fearful or dumb, or both.. to follow them and believe it. It’s beyond disturbing, but if I had to guess this is just a reminder year. I bet they don’t go full force, but rather put people on notice. So in 24 they can suspend chain of custody requirements on ballots, and do weekend a Bernie’s 2 with Biden In the basement.

Lol at how many names are at the top of this paper calling for "rational discourse"

the COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented attention to the field of virology. Some of this attention is focused on concern about the safe conduct of research with human pathogens. A small but vocal group of individuals has seized upon these concerns – conflating legitimate questions about safely conducting virus-related research with uncertainties over the origins of SARS-CoV-2

Dont let the channel name fool ya

Edit: of course

There's lots of chatter at the moment about restrictions and even lockdown coming back in the near future. UK gov just bought forward the vaccination schedule for people, and I'm noticing an uptick in stories about covid again. This next strain is the 'real deal' apparently. lmao.

Paper from last month:

Results
Reductions in excess deaths over a period of 30 days after peak deaths averaged 74% in the 10 states with the most intensive IVM use. As determined across all 25 states, these reductions in excess deaths correlated closely with the extent of IVM use (p<0.002). During four months of IVM use in 2020, before a new president of Peru restricted its use, there was a 14-fold reduction in nationwide excess deaths and then a 13-fold increase in the two months following the restriction of IVM use. Notably, these trends in nationwide excess deaths align with WHO summary data for the same period in Peru.

A lot of people still don't accept that ivermectin (dirt cheap) works for Covid, and that no other effective treatments could exist or the EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) for the Covid shots wouldn't have been allowed, which is why ivermectin was attacked and doctors were told they'd lose their jobs for prescribing it for covid

Because of the EUA the shots didn't need to go through the traditional length of trials meaning more profits sooner
