The deal with potentiation...

Morning everyone! I had a quick question about potentiation of opiates. With regards to things like codiene syrup or barbs or any other med that one would want to take with their opiate to make the opiate stonger or last longer (I'm not quite sure what a potentiator does) would one take it 30 min before their opiate dose or with their opiate dose and why?

There is no rush in answering the question I was just curious as I see loads of old threads and talk about potentiating opiates I just wanted to get all the valid information that ya'll had to offer!

Usually it's better to take it inadvance, so the effects are already happening by the time the opiates start to absorb. No point the opiates starting to take effect before the potentiators.
