I have needle phobia but damn some people need to toughen up... yeah it is unpleasant but damn, you're gonna void the vaccine against the pandemic ONLY because you're scared of a shot? Wow.

I was nervous but a shot is easy. Getting blood drawn is what gets me. I literally barely felt the covid shot and it was over in a second or less. The second one it was over before I even realized it had happened. Pro tip: Always look away
 
That is actually one specific thing which would not deter me in the least from following what I firmly trusted to be the right course of action.

I’m no fan, daydreamer of needles. But I’ll get over something easy enough if needs be.

Although I’d never willingly use the high diving boards.

A quick little injection, is incomparable to that.
 
am i the only one who thinks it's weird to constantly be told that being locked down and pumped full of pharma cocktails is good for us... while still having to pay a premium at the supermarket for a free-range, antibiotic-free chicken?
 
Oh man the magnetic thing, jesus christ. The "explanation" is absolute nonsense... "the spike vaccine spike protein contains a heavy metal and the body replicates the spike protein so your body floods with heavy metals". Never mind that the vaccine does NOT contain a spike protein, it causes the immune system, through the same mechanism the immune system encodes antibodies through natural means when it encounters a virus, to encode antibodies that attack the spike protein on the virus. It doesn't even cause your body to produce spike proteins, it causes your body to produce antibodies AGAINST a spike protein. The spike protein is just a scary sounding term to describe a portion of this virus's structure... a spike protein by itself doesn't even do anything so it makes no sense to be afraod of disembodied spike proteins. And even if the vaccine contains trace amounts of heavy metals, and even if the vaccine caused your body to produce spike proteins (remember, the vaccine does not contain a spike protein so it would be impossible for a heavy metal to be attached to a spike protein in the vaccine), your body can't magically create heavy metals out of nothing. Your body CAN create proteins, but heavy metals are not synthesized by the body, they can only be introduced to the body from external sources. So even IF all of this nonsense was true about out of control spike protein production, there is no way that the body can produce new heavy metals by itself.

The whole thing makes absolutely no sense and a middle school level of understanding of basic science would inform you of that. But people choose to believe random youtube and social media "experts" because it fits the narrative they've decided to believe.
 
Oh, and my favorite latest nutjob reason for not getting vaxxed:

"It was a vaccine that caused everyone in the movie I Am Legend to become zombies."

First, it was not a vaccine that made people zombies in that movie.
Second, and much, much more importantly, it was a fucking movie. Science-Fiction.
Note that second part: FICTION.

We're at the point now where the latest wave of covid is entirely the antivaxxers fault ( In north america anyway, probably europe too).

We have the tools to beat this thing now, its only ignorance holding us back.

Yeah, her argument as to why I wasn’t magnetic the day after was "It just works the same day".

She also believe SÄPO (like the Swedish NSA) can track me now.

Who would want to track my boring life? The whole anti vax things loses me when they say they are sterilizing children to control population. I get why people would be upset when a child needs up to 50 vaccines now. I get that. I had like 3 when I was born. But the whole big conspiracy stuff makes no sense. My friends wife is anti vax and we had a discussion and she was telling me the small pox vaccine is not real either. But I sit and listen and will adjust what I think I know if any lights go off. None went off in that conversation.

All this discussion on the physical part of the vaccine. But listen the vaccine can not affect the Spirit. Can not touch the real me. And I am still able to play guitar with feeling. :) I still follow the Golden Rule too!!

So yeah I did not turn into a pod person. Did not become "one of them".....bwahaha

Man I hope this aint outta context (they do have vax related apps) but they been able to track us for the longest. We willingly give away every aspect of our lives (not just location) everyday to anyone as long as they ask through a phone or service on a phone. Location, bank info, loves and hates, services and goods preferred, bio-metrics, future plans, past experiences, family/friends everything.
There has gotta be an alternate spin on the vax that holds more water that this, brother. IMO phones cause more sterilizations than vaccines but havent crunched the numbers.
There is nothing more they need from us................................

Completely OT: As soon as you click "send" on a device it belongs to everyone else. Keep that in mind and it can't be taken back.. You can't change what happened if you click send. I was laughing when years ago people were appauled that Facebook was so publc. Pictures in there end up anywhere.

But the victims need help now — people like Angela Marie Wulbrecht, a previously healthy nurse of 23 years who drove three hours to get a shot of the Moderna vaccine in January.

Twelve minutes after her injection, her heartbeat was racing and her blood pressure was soaring. In the months since, she has contended with severe fatigue, brain fog, balance problems and other symptoms. She’s spent about $35,000 of her own money on medical bills, including five trips in an ambulance.

“I wanted to get vaccinated as soon as I could to help fight the pandemic,” Wulbrecht told our friends at Kaiser Health News. “But it would help those who are hesitant if they took care of those of us who got injured.”

Katharine Van Tassel, a vaccine law expert at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, agreed. Cases like Wulbrecht’s are rare, but “if you’re going to take one for the team, the team has to have your back,” she said. “That’s a moral imperative.”

It's certainly very wrong and fucked up that she has had to deal with the injury with her own money and isn't receiving any help from the government or Moderna.
