Elemicin isomerization with KOH.
Aldehydic oxidation with sodium dithionite (?) or with ozone gas, an acid and zinc metal.
Reduction with Clorox.
Treatment with PBr3.
Treatment with KCN yields 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenylacetonitrile.
Reflux with 7 parts pyridine, 2 parts aforesaid compound and 1.5 parts 99% D20. Repeat on the sludge using equal parts pyridine and D20.
Reduce with LiAlD4 to create alpha, beta-quatrodeuteromescaline.
Censor my poetry and be eated for breakfast like a pig.
