The bussines of drugs, netflix 6 chapters about diferent drugs

Yesterday I saw this miniserie of the business of drugs. Chapter number 3 is about heroine, but I was surprised cause it is about heroine in Africa, in Kenia wich seems to be the distributor of Afganhistan heroin.
It show how people in Kenya is being addicted and begin to transport the drug all over the world. People is eating like 1 kg of heroine and flies to Xina, Europe and other countries. Better if you can see it cause I dont know how to explain better.

Lots of people in Kenya is injecting heroine, not only the rich ones. There is a harm reduction association that support the addicts and give them sterile rings and different stuff.

Anybody knows about This ?Africa is becoming the heroine world distributor.

The African continent has been a pretty significant transport hub for quite some time. Cocaine often passes through sub-saharan africa and heroin (mainly from the golden crescent AKA Afghanistan) goes through east africa.

I've heard that meth has gotten pretty big in many of those countries as well, IIRC most of it comes from Mexican cartels (though chemicals can sometimes be easier to acquire there so there's probably some local production too).

Many of those drugs are somewhat cheap there since they're relatively easy to smuggle.
