Hmm.. dunno.. unlike a 'generic' conspiracy theory (read: aliens are really running the white house), which may be a cool story and _could_ be happening (but is very unlikely), this one seems pretty plausible. The main claim, basically, is that the world's economy is dominated by greed, power & black market activities (corporations/governments/mafia) - doesn't sound particularly unreasonable to me! I wouldn't be surprised at all (saddened, maybe, but not surprised) if this article was true.. could anyone out there be bothered to look up all the references to check their validity? 'cos I couldn't..

eh, not much of this article is outrageous. most of it is verifiable.
check out this article on the KLA heroin trade. I first read about this in Time magazine...

rich powerful men like Bush and Cheney have controlling interests in companies such as the ones mentioned in that first article. and those companies are on record as doing some insanely evil things. these are facts. but saying that Bush and Cheney are actively controlling and instigaing any of this? that's the realms of conspiracy...
