The doorbell rings.
Who the hell is that, I wonder.
Perfect timing.
It’s the bug man
Tears still cover my face
The conversation from moments ago still looms in my mind.
It ended our relationship.
I am grateful.
I ache.
Silently, he moves through the house
Spraying his chemicals.
The aroma wafts through the air
Burning my sinuses.
Have a good day, good-bye
Quickly he is gone.
I wipe my tears
And breathe relief through the poisonous haze.
I feel lighter
I am free of the bugs in my life.
I wrote this today, the event, however, took place in Summer of 2000.

"Weep not sad soul, nor forget, that sunrise never failed us yet."
"As long as one heart still holds on, hope is never really gone"
"Madness such as this, its like trying to stop a fire with the moisture from a kiss"

i like this,
it describes perfectly how someone will let you go but still they will smile and flirt,......BUGging you.

before love there are
memories of innonence.
after there are none...
