The Big & Dandy Nitrous Thread

when i was abusing n2o a while back, i started feeling like fatigue and tired all the time, started taking b12 tablets and was all good. yes i was sucking down multiple boxes of nos per night every night. got my craze undercontrol now only do it once in a blue moon :)

Basicly, N20 and competetive sports is a bad combination!

Since I did N20, I get pins and needles in all of my extremities, so I put it down to a lack of B12, even though I'd only done like 15 canisters over two weeks...

Took some B-Complex and after a fortnight of taking one a day, I now can enjoy sport and not notice the pins and needles so bad!

YES

Finally, after an innumerable number of balloons, I have a fitting description for the way I usually experience nitrous!
It's like samplecore times infinity, samplecore being an electronic music genre with an
impossible varation of samples following each other in sequence - like time almost comes to a standstill and every instance becomes a separate reality only echoing in the next moment

Listen to Blaerg - Reverse Entropy Catalyst, a track on the free album Statement of Purpose on Xynthetic Label,
that sums up the above.

Shit, last friday my best friend and I used bk-MDMA with 2C-I, and added weed nitrous and just a little ketamine...
At one point after taking the only K that night and following up with a balloon he started to act really weird and got stuff like not feeling any temperatures, rolling with his eyes in a dangerous manner, tight muscles, panic and confusion, etc.
He got so freaked out I almost called an ambulance. I took care of him during this episode and he was convinced he had damaged himself. Somewhat later I thought it was a mental thing like you must be thinking as you read this...
But now it's 5 days later and his memory and cognitive faculties are still off, he's dizzy and his vision is a little screwed (suddenly his right eye seems to be dominant). These are symtoms of N2O induced hypoxia! Now while his technique was probably not ideal I really think N2O in combination with somewhat heavy other substances can be very dangerous.
Even moreso since I once got a seizure-like reaction to LSD+N2O.

What do you all think, have you had or heard of similar reactions? Cause I really think something is up here and we need to be aware of increased risks!

Also- has anyone hear ever really laughed from it? Because I never have, making me feel somewhat dubious as to how it got its name of "laughing gas". Anyway, I'll merge this with the N20 thread....:)

I have while in the peak of a few hits of LSD. I just remember exhaling and as i did time and sound slowed down exponentially.. it was the first time i had tried nitrous on LSD and the people around me started laughing in slow motion at my facial expression.. which sent me into a laughing fit along with 'hoollly shiiitttt' because of how incredibly bizarre my reality had become.

I mean in conclusion.. i only started laughing after my friends laughed at my reaction to the mix of substances.. so that could just be contagious laughter along with the LSD combination, I've never tried it on my own to know for sure.

^Yeah, see I've never actually laughed off it :\ Especially sober. But, it must be said, that nitrous on LSD is fucking sublime- like getting massaged by tentacles of time-stopping squids or something.

On its own- its kinda boring I reckon. That, however, doesn't stop me filling balloon after balloon when I have chargers. Haven't for a while, over a year I reckon....Hmm, must gets to it.

swilow i had thought the same thing about not laughing, until one of my friends advised me to just try and laugh whilst on the nitrous.

Once i started laughing i literally couldn't stop for that 30 seconds or so.:)

^I've tried that, to no avail. Though I still have an enormous shit-eating grin on my face- almost painful- like this :D but human.

I have a bit of a question.
Yesterday was my first time trying nitrous. I was on two REALLY good MDA rolls. When I did it yesterday, It didn't last 30 seconds. I had 5 hours of dissociation. I layed there babbling on and on for five hours about all the epiphanies and secrets of the universe I was experiencing. I went to other dimensions and met the entities that hold all the secrets that our minds shouldn't know or handle. This was very profound on me to say the least.
What I want to know is WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?? How can a 30 second drug last 5 hours? I told my friends that my mind snapped and the only way to come back from this wonderful oblivion was to except the insanity and integrate this experience into your being, but I didn't want to leave that state. I truely believe that I would've stayed that way if I didn't except the experience as temporary.

Look at the story of my friend above...
I'm starting to believe nitrous can precipitate extreme states also with associated dissociation (lolwut?), it is like a very intense peak experience that under normal circumstances is straightened out pretty quickly. Under the unfluence of something else this peak can possibly unleash a great intensity that crosses boundaries. Sometimes when an experience goes overboard it affects your whole consciousness in a way that goes beyond the duration of a drug's effect. It seems like you can snap into a meditative, derealized or dissociated state and keep hanging to a certain degree. I'm NOT saying that under normal circumstances you can get a permatrip but sometimes it's hardly episodic anymore.

Even so 5 hours is a VERY long time, actually so long I doubt my explanation fits. In any case I don't know how much truth it holds but something is definitely up.

It was my first every dissociative experience. I have plenty of experience with psychedelics, but this was different and the same. I just felt my mind snap, I learned and experienced things we shouldn't be allowed to experience. I'm still quite a bit shaken up, but shaken up in a good way. The only explanation I have for the duration is that a switch was flipped inside my head from the intensity of it all, and my mind couldn't return to normal until I came to terms with the experience and excepted it.

Edit: Last nights experience did give me the courage to dive in and try out DMT for the first time here soon :)

I've experienced disasociation and bizare time distortions twice while on other psychs in the last two weeks since I last did nitrous. Ior even experienced it after smoking a bowl by itself just the other day. I saw Phish last night, took 15mg 2c-i and felt like I was on one big hit of nitrous for the last half. It's hard to describe how intense the effects were and went along with the music. I've had 2c-i many times and never experienced this.

I know 2 weeks is a very long time so obviously it's not still acting in my body. I do think it flipped some sort of switch as my last experience with it while also on Methylone/Butylone was incredibly intense.

so in the past week or so i have done well over 100 whipped cream chargers. for the past couple of days when i came down from my binges i felt really anxious so i am taking a break. today is my first day not doing any and i have been feeling really depressed and anxious. i know nitrous doesnt have any sort of physical addiction, but is this normal after using nitrous like that? also, will i be able to do nitrous again without that anxiety on the comedown and has anyone else experienced that?

strange reactions to lots of nitrous

Nitrous seems to be one of those drugs that can cause just about any odd reaction in the short to medium term. Anxiety, sometimes severe, paranoid reactions and actual psychotic reactions do happen. But, yes, lots of nitrous was being used along with acid and pot.......

Well I've just read this entire thread which was interesting :) I consider myself fairly experienced with N2O but find it amazing ppl talking about going through hundreds of chargers! I felt like I'd been bad caning 20 to myself the other night lol

Anyways, I feel that nitrous does indeed mix amazingly well with psychedelics. With shrooms being by *far* my favourite combo, oh how I can't wait till the new season this year! I literally punched the air and shouted "that was fuckin ace!" after one balloon lol.

I find it very intense with LSD, sometimes overwhelming but mostly very enjoyable.

However, I tried it with 2c-i and after a few balloons of it being great, things got very fucked up and a sinister kind of dread descended on me. Also it felt like the balloon melted onto my hand and everything went purple and, well just plain messed up! I would suggest treading carefully when mixing 2c-i with N2O for what it's worth.

Interestingly, I've found that while doing nitrous on good pills, mephedrone, methylone etc etc is great and very euphoric, but I can rarely remember the event afterwards. Whereas when on a psychedelic I always have a clearer memory of what happened. A clear distinction here IME.

I've done several hundred for sveral weeks on end, and experienced similar anxious feelings. To me, it feels more like a physical problem; shakey, out of breath, mild confusion- which often leads me to a heightened state on anxiety. Eat healthy- B vitamins etc.- but nice leafy greens, eggs, bannans; basically, brain food. You will feel okay pretty soon. :)

Whether you will experience anxiety on the comedown in the future is hard to guage; nitrous does have an enormous relaxation associated with it, so it kinda makes sense for there to be a rebound effect. No doubt though, if you lay off the nitrous for a few weeks/months, that effect will be minimal. That said, anxiety when coming off a drug is often a sign that your overdoing it.

PEACE :)

Keep in mind that DMT and nitrous are VERY disimilar. DMT is a full-blown hallucinogen; nitrous is more simple in action.

BTW it has a half life of 5 minutes, but does seem to enormously potentiate ITSELF if used with other drugs...

^^ yep, the dissociation was pretty damn intense and the nitrous seemed to last much longer than usual. by that i mean objective time (i got someone to time from when i had the balloon till when i could respond to them) not subjective time, ie time dilation.

Try it if you want but there is very intense dissociation, at least there was for me.

Nitro oxide

Ok I'm currently recovering and trying to quit stims.

I was bored with my x gf tonight and we were messin around with whip cream doing body shots. She says that we can get high off the nitro by inhale.

I never done this type of drug and was wondering if anyone ever had a good buzz from it? How exactly do you do it? just inhale? How do u just get the gas and not the whip cream? I look on erowid but it was reports about dust busters
