Hi everyone!
As you can see, this is my first post here although I've been following the MXE-threads here for over 6 months. First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for your evaluations, observations and comments on this substance. I'm very careful with what I'm consuming, so if I hadn't been able to access this kind information I probably wouldn't have tried MXE at all.
My experience with MXE started about two months ago and I have found that, depending on the dosage, it is very useful for different purposes.
My first couple of tries were taken orally, under my tongue as long as possible (usually I couldn't keep it there for more than 5 min) and then swallowed. Although the taste was bitter/salty it didn't bother me. I started of very low (5mg) with a very light effect that came with a slight feeling of euphoria. After a few days I tried 10mg + 10 mg, after maybe an hour or so it gave me quite an unpleasant experience where my memory and vision became quite fragmented and I remember thinking that I rather just come down asap. After this I only consume it by insufflation (snorting). For me, it is by far better than taking it orally.
I should add that so far I've not tried to dose higher than 20 mg at once and therefore I've not been close to 'holing' or any substantial mind altering experience. On 20 mg however, I feel a strong sensation of euphora and enjoy doing things a lot more than otherwise. Never 'lost control' though and have always functioned well in a social setting if that was needed.
For the last 30 days or so, I have been using MXE daily. After I wake up and had breakfast and coffee and feel steadily awake I snort app. 8-10 mg. This dosage has had a significant effect on my daily life. I feel a lot more positive, inquisitive and experience that I'm more eager to participate in social interaction. Before I've felt quite anxious, focusing on life's "bigger questions" and the terrible world we humans have created for ourselves. But with this dosage I somehow accept the things for what they are and instead try to focus on what I can do about them. Only in positive ways so far. Of course I realize that it is far from risk free to dose MXE on a daily basis, but it has worked for me and i rarely feel the need to re-dose during the course of the day.
Here are some of my negative observations.
When coming down I often experience a headache, quite a distinct one that appears on the right and left side (simultaneously) of my frontal lobe. I sometimes at night consume THC to alleviate the pain with different results. Sometimes it works really well and the pain disappears and sometimes it somehow reinforces the pain.
At night I often have severe problems with falling asleep. This is a problem that I've had for a long time but my I feeling is that it is even harder to fall asleep with MXE, and this seems to be the case for many other users. On very rare occasion I use a benzo-analogue to fall asleep, it helps effectively but I feel quite melancholic the day after. For that reason I use THC for the purpose of falling asleep which helps most of the times. Once I've fallen asleep I can sleep for many hours and I wake up feeling like a million bucks.
Another thing I've noticed is a kind of suction in the upper parts of my stomach. It last for a very short period of time (few sec, one min tops) and it's not unpleasant in any way, just "weird". Usually it manifests itself a few minutes after the intake. Does anyone else had this experience?
I also have had bladder problems maybe a day or two out of these 30 days, where I feel that I have to urinate a lot more often than usually. Prostate cancer is in my family genes, so it might be attributed to that, but since other users report similar bladder behavior I strongly suspect that it is because of the MXE. Although it is a concern, it has happened so rarely that I don't regard it as a big problem for now.
That's it for now. Once again, thanks to all of you guys for adding vital information about this substance and I'm looking forward to be a bit more active in my own sharing of experiences.
Be well and stay safe!
