'Tis brilliant for wandering outdoors, but as for rock formations...I don't know. It depends on the amount of rock in the desert. Too much of it, and the experience might rock you a tiny bit more than you bargained for.
On a more serious note, this one has found AL-LAD to be a vintage that is best savored under the sun and stars. Experiments conducted indoors have ranged from tolerable to quite unpleasant. The experience calls for a vast expanse of space, so a desert might just be the perfect setting. Fo'real.
Interesting to see reports of a foul mood the day after hanging out with AL. I would have to add my voice to that chorus. It seems that the day or two after partaking, I invariably find myself in a gloomy, melancholy head-place, questioning my life's choices, worrying what the future might bring...and some such. At first I attributed such thinkings to the general shake-up/wake-up factor inherent to the psychedelic experience, but recently I've detected a consistent pattern in those moods that I'm not liking very much. I could be just imagining it though - perhaps it's the winter speaking. Still, I heard a similar complaint from a friend, and now to read it here...most interesting. Would very much like to read about the nitty-gritty of what levers does this nice little chemical push in one's brain - phat chance of any such data forthcoming, though, I guess. If anyone does have a nice little study or two up their link sleeve, please post away!
