LSD and shrooms later into that year.

18 now and not really thinking of experimenting with new drugs any time soon.
 
got introduced into the psychedelic realm in my late teens thru early 20's with good weed and lots of nitrous, with a background of pink floyd music in the background
took me till my later 20's to find shrooms and acid
my first effective shroom trip was at a grateful dead concert in the spring summer of 88 or 89---mostly effective because it got be interested in doing a series of trips just hanging with a good friend. these trips got me interested in psychedelics as something to experience in situations other than as a drug to enhance music.
i've done psychedelics while exploring most of nyc museums---modern art and museum of natural history stand out as my favs
and morning after i did my first lsd trip, i was a tourist in wash, dc, i decided to do the pentagon guided tour. i must say my tour was more interesting than most, hehehe :p:p:p
 
1st Mushroom trip (3g at age 16)-Opened my eyes to the infinite
2nd Mushroom trip (4g at age 16)-Completely re-calibrated my shit
1st LSD trip (1 blotter hit at age 17)- Showed me a whole new realm of the psychedelic
 
Age 16

Fresh mushrooms.

Lunchtime at school with 2 other guys - all of us doing them for the first time.

Then I went to class.

I was failing the two classes I attended that afternoon and under the influence of mushrooms there was no escaping that reality. It was a inner voice confrontational thought loop...sticking the facts squarely in my face.

I did go on to fail those classes, and to respect the power of mushrooms to elevate my underlying anxiety.
 
I was 17 or 18 the first time I tripped. Me and two friends drank a bunch of shroom kool aid and got pretty freakin nuts. I can only think of 2 or 3 shroom trips I've had that were more intense. And I couldn't even begin to quantify the # of times I've tripped on shrooms, we used to pick them every night during the summer!
 
16 and a half, DXM.

First real psychedelic - mushrooms, at 17.

Actually, no, it was salvia, but i had mushrooms soon after.. or maybe before.. cant really remember.
 
weed in about year 4.
i wouldn't personally name that a psychedelic experience..

so lsd at 17.
 
Holy shit.. I didn't expect such young ages. I thought it would have been something that most people got into at college or something.

19 y/o, 25 mg, 2ce - Thanksgiving break.. Friend brought it back from college. I tripped sooo fuckin hard. But holy shit it was fun.

Rest is history.
 
17 - LSD

remains my only psychedelic experience, barring being heavily stoned and dissociated on DXM.

It was a low dose, but i very much enjoyed it. Tomorrow I will be experiencing mushrooms. :)
 
I would have to say Cannabis at 9 or 10, can't remember exactly. It was almost normal to try it at that age in the community i grew up in. Everybody's parents had a lot of it out in the open, and most of us knew what it was. It was definitely a psychedelic experience, i would say.

Then mushrooms at 13, LSD at 15 or 16.
 
Age 14- Mushrooms.

I split an 1/8th with a friend and had one of the most intense trips of my life, more so than when I eat 7-8g nowadays.


....I think there have been a few threads and a poll on this same topic before though
 
16 yrs old, mushrooms, not only my first psychedelic experience but my FIRST DRUG EXPERIENCE. It was fuckin crazy, but great at the same time. Talk about a gateway drug... When the first drug you try is mushrooms, there's nothing you think you can't handle lol
