Tryptamines The Big & Dandy 5-MeO-MiPT Thread - Part 2

I love that you question this.
I think there's a small kernel of truth here, but don't fully agree with conclusion. ABO blood type does seem to correlate with some things. For example, type O has been linked with higher odds of H. pylori/ulcer risk in some studies, but that's a population-level association, not "all type O people have bad stomachs." Crohn's also isn't caused by junk food or blood type; it's a complex immune/gut-microbiome/genetic disease.

So I believe you that your family has GI issues, but that could be shared genetics, H. pylori exposure, diet, stress, meds, &c., not necessarily "O blood." Also, I'd be careful framing subq use as a safer workaround. Instant hives and racing heart from 6-APB sounds like a serious reaction … watch out for anaphylaxis!

Btw, there's a theory that Kurt Cobain's stomach pain was caused by scoliosis exacerbated by the fact that he wore his guitar left-handed which only increased the spinal curvature. This has been known to affect the stomach, so the band being on tour only made Kurt's symptom's worse. Personally though, I suspect it had a lot more to do with anxiety and heroin, but who knows?

Just curious and maybe I asked already... what is the most common form of 5-meo-mipt? is it fumarate?
Hmm, I rather doubt it. I think the freebase is fairly common, but otherwise, the hydrochloride seems preferable, no? Stable, low molecular weight for a conjugate acid…

Test a portion of it for water solubility. If it dissolves readily, at least you know it is bonded to a conjugate acid. If it doesn't dissolve though, that doesn't necessarily prove it's the FB, though it could be. I suppose you could look up the standards for its melting point and boiling point, then test a small bit in a test tube while monitoring temperature…

Just found small bag of 5-meo MIPT in my stash, it's at least 10 years old, I totally forgot that I have anything like that in my possesion. Never had it, so I am going to read a lot about it here.
Moxy (5-MeO-MiPT) is similar to and closely related to Foxy (5-MeO-DiPT). Try reading the entry for 5-MeO-MiPT in TIHKAL by Dr. Alexander Shulgin. That entry is a pretty good starting point, I'd say. You can find an online version of TIHKAL through either the Erowid or at isomerdesign.com
