I gave 2C-C many trials last year. It is definitely a worthwhile subtance; I wouldn't consider it to be sedating either, it simply has a more elusive effects profile than it's siblings.
I've tried it orally, insufflated, and intravenously. I used the IV route with this one mostly, as it elicited a fascinating rush. The instantaneous peak/plateau was characterized by an extreme headiness along with the most elusive psychedelic state - almost as if the phenomena were one step ahead of me all the time. It was always quite dreamy, but not sedative. The visuals were very strong, and again followed this elusive pattern of playful teasing. Audio enhancement and synathesia were quite prominent.
I found oral dosing (and insufflating) to be milder than this, and to not produce the intense dreaminess and 'flights of fantasy' than the parenteral route. Oral doses didn't seem give rise to the completely 'oneness' that other phenethylamines (such as 2C-E and 2C-T-2) do so well either. I wouldn't IV it again, however, as the 2C-Xs are intensely damaging to the veins, but instead I would trial with much higher oral doses.
