The first time you do K you should be in a familiar environment. It's easy for some people to cross that line into the "too much" zone (including the K-hole), and you will be very confused.
As the old adage goes, start small, work your way up. You can always do more but you can't do less.
As far as effects, a bump or two will make you feel kind of drunk-ish with some euphoria. At a certain point you get this "time lag" effect. The best way I can describe it is like when you're playing a video game and it starts getting choppy, where you'll walk 10 feet and all of a sudden be back where you started. It's like that but in real life.
