Location
where the trees are sappy
Like any other movement
Walk, strive for improvement to
The other face
Of the avenue
Between which
I found my necklace
Laying, a song I'd forgotten
But the melody still clear
A paradigm of the rotten
A gift held near
And I didn't even know it was gone
So wrong, only wrong

i had to bounce around and pick a rythm reading, but once i did i liked a lot.

iii feel the ache in this last bit particularly...
... sounds like truth, only truth.

Thanks man! I was really sad that noone had anything to say about this one (newer style sorta) thanks for the kind words.

If you wanna know the story behind this:

During a period of weeks I was using a lot more addictive drugs much more frequently than I should have, and my girlfriend hated it. She had given me a necklace the first time we finally were able to get together 3 months after meeting at a festival.

One day I was walking across the street to my buddies house to get high or something, and I saw this necklace laying in the disgusting slush near the end of another houses driveway. I had no idea it was gone, and of course they way I work mentally- it was super symbolic and felt it was a message that I'm going to "lose" her if I keep doing what I was doing. Also immediately decided to write about it :)

that is a great experience to write about. i think all drug users can remember identifying with it on some level!
