Tinted sky passes by with a
Hinted hue of orange with blue
A girl awakes then contemplates
For an answer she waits...
She is so ashamed for causing such pain
And she knows that wherever she goes
It follows behind in the dark of her mind
An answer she must find...
The day of her birth, sorrow or mirth?
Why does she hide her grief behind
Plastic smiles and bodies defiled
This an answer, yet vile...
She hates to believe she might be decieved
"Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Isn't that the saying?
She spent so long doing so much wrong
Thinking she knew the answer all along...
Nothing can sooth, the pain remove
the anger stay and so she fades
With tears on her face she reaches for a place
An answer might wait...
