today i received a sensual touch from the sky
i felt what it's like to die
i learned where my tears come from when i cry
and the only physical remembrance that i have is my pain
i felt the frenzied fear of time
and with one jolt i scattered my mind
my ears are deaf and my eyes are blind
i feel as though ive gone completely insane
figures crowd me
the clouds have fallen
the earth has risen to show new ground
bones are broken
dreams are shattered
and there is nowhere left to go but down
the sun no longer shines
and the birds no longer sing
the darkness calls itself upon the many men
the fear has won
the worrying has begun
and chaos grasps it's hands on me again
i am no one
and i am everyone
i am a cause for concern
disillusioned
and brain contusions
i am the fear that i have earned

A very powerful and moving poem. I like the three line rhyming system that you have used in this, it made it quite interesting to read, and I read it aloud to myself just to see how it would sound, it sounded very nice.

i am the fear that i have earned

A very very powerful line to end such an emotive piece on, and definately one that is interpretable in a great many different ways.

Out of curiousity, is this one based in truth?
